ODISHA SPACE APPLICATIONS CENTRE (ORSAC) has announced the job opening on 10/12/2025 for Highly Skilled IT and Geo informatics Professionals in various domain specialties to work Design, Development, Operation, Maintenance and Supervision of Enterprise Class Web Enabled Geo informatics / GIS Applications. Qualifications & Eligibilities
1. Server & Network Admin: Educational Qualification: The candidate must have scored at least 50% of the marks aggregate in both the 12th and 10th grade exams, as well as have finished the 12th grade with mathematics as a subject. Technical Qualification: For serial numbers 1-6: The candidate must have a B.Tech, MCA, or higher degree in an IT or computer science field from an accredited university with at least 60% overall. For serial number 7: Candidates must have a post-graduate degree or diploma in management with a focus in finance or banking and finance, an MBA in finance or banking and finance, or an ICWA, CMA, or CA from an accredited university or institution with a stellar professional record. Serial number 8: M.Tech or M.Sc. in GIS/Geoinformatics & Remote Sensing. or an M.Sc. or M.Tech. plus a postgraduate degree in remote sensing. a top-tier career with comparable credentials in similar fields like geoinformatics or spatial information technology. Other Eligibilities: a. He or She should be an Indian citizen. b. He or she should not be the subject of any active criminal cases. c. His/her previous employer shouldn’t have fired him/her due to fraud and misconduct. d. If chosen for this engagement, he or she must be released from all responsibilities owed to both the current employer and all prior employers. e. To carry out his or her responsibilities as an IT professional, he or she must be in good physical and mental health and be certified by a Registered Medical Practitioner with an MD from the Government of Odisha/India. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Hindi, Odiya, and English is required. g. Should have excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities; h. Should have a good conduct certificate issued by a Class-1 Gazetted officer of the Government of Odisha/India.

Remuneration
Pay will be negotiated or equivalent with the candidate’s experience and prior salary, up to a monthly maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 (consolidated).

Nature and Tenure of appointment
The engagements are entirely contractual in nature, full-time on-site at ORSAC, and will last for a year with extensions possible based on ORSAC requirements (the maximum extension of a contractual engagement will be three years).

This contract, which is full-time on-site at ORSAC, is only temporary, contractual, and terminable at any moment in accordance with ORSAC requirements and contingent upon the candidate’s good performance.
No other employment, part-time employment, assignments, consulting, or other activities with other organizations, individuals, or businesses of any kind are permitted during the engagement period with ORSAC. Should such activities be observed, the engagement contract will be immediately canceled.
Because of this brief and contractual engagement, the engaged candidate will not be entitled to a permanent position at ORSAC or any other government agency.
Candidates will have their applications rejected if they canvass or influence ORSAC in any way.
ORSAC retains the right, at any time and without providing a justification, to alter, reject, amend, and cancel the entire advertisement or any portion of it.
