OUAT Recruitment 2026: ODISHA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE & TECHNOLOGY (OUAT), BHUBANESWAR released notification for the engagement of Guest faculties in different subjects in the Agro Polytechnic Centres of OUAT, Bhubaneswar through walk-in interview to be conducted in the Office of the undersigned on 22nd September, 2026.

The undersigned reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of positions on basis of need and approval of the competent authority or to cancel the interview process without assigning any reason.

Educational Qualification:

• Agriculture Science: B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture
• Horticulture Science: B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture
• Fishery Science: B.F.Sc. (Fisheries Science)
• Animal Science: B.V.Sc. & A.H. (Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry)
• Research publication in peer reviewed journals will be given due weightage.

Age Limit:

• Remuneration: Rs.1000/- only per class subjected to maximum of Rs.50,000/- per month (As applicable)

• The candidates desirous of attending the walk in interview must report at the venue latest by 10.30 AM in on the date of interview.
• Venue: Office of the Director, Directorate of Polytechnic, OUAT, Bhubaneswar-751003, Odisha.
• The candidates will have to submit a Demand Draft/ Bankers Cheque of Rs. 500.00 in favour of Comptroller, OUAT, Bhubaneswar before appearing the interview.

ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାବଳୀ (Important instructions)

• No TA/ DA will be paid to the candidate for appearing the interview.
• The candidates desirous of attending the walk in interview must report at the venue latest by 10.30 AM in on the date of interview.
• In the event the walk-in-interview cannot be conducted on the date as mentioned above, the new date will be notified in the OUAT website in the afternoon of the previous working day of the scheduled date of interview.
• Any update will also be notified in the OUAT website. The desirous candidates are required to keep a track on the OUAT website for any updates.
• The engagement will be for the academic year 2026-27.
• The tenure of engagement may be terminated at any time before the end of academic year without assigning any reason thereof.
• The incumbent shall not have any claim for regular appointment under OUAT.
• The guest faculty may leave the assignment by giving one month prior notice and he/ she will be disengaged thereafter.

Instructions to candidates:

1. The candidate must bring all the original certificates from H.S.C.E onwards, experience certificate (if any) with them, without which the candidature will not be considered.
2. The candidates should also produce a bio-data, two passport size photographs, self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets, proof of age and valid photo ID (Aadhaar Card/ Voter ID/ Driving License) for verification at the time of interview.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Terms of Engagement:

1. The engagement is purely temporary and contractual.
2. Initial engagement will be up to 31st March 2027 which is extendable for another period of one year or till completion of the project, whichever is earlier subject to requirement of service of the said post in the project and satisfactory performance.
3. The engagement can be terminated at any time without any prior notice or assigning any reason thereof.
4. In case the engaged person shall tender resignation or quit the engagement, he/she shall have to give one-month notice, failing which one-month salary shall be deducted or deposited by him/her.
