VSSUT Burla Recruitment 2026: Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, Sambalpur invites applications from eligible candidates to attend Walk-in-interview for the following posts.

Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)

• Positions (Tembiporu): Junior Research Fellow (JRF) & Project Associate (PA) under ANRF-PAIR scheme.
• Department-wise No. of Positions:
  • Electrical & Electronics Engg: 01 (JRF/PA)
  • Civil Engineering: 01 (JRF/PA)
  • Mechanical Engg: 01 (PA)
  • Computer Sc and Engg: 01 (PA)
• Duration: Coterminous with the project.

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

1. Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) – Project Associate (PA)

• Project Code: A3.4
• Broad Area: Smart Agri-Quality Grading System: AI-Driven Assessment and Grading of Agricultural Products for Market Readiness.
• Essential Qualification (any one): B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Computer Science, EEE and its relevant discipline / M.Sc Computer Science / M.Sc. in Electronics / M.Tech in Electronics / M.Tech in Computer Science / MCA or its relevant subject / Equivalent degree recognized by government institutions.
• Desirable Skills: Knowledge of programming languages (Python/MATLAB/C/C++) / Experience in data analysis, machine learning, AI/ML / Experience in laboratory experiments or field data collection.

2. Mechanical Engineering (ME) – Project Associate (PA)

• Project Code: E2.6
• Broad Area: Phase change materials and battery TMS.
• Essential Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 1st class.
• Desirable Qualification: M.Tech in Thermal Engineering with 1st class. Familiar with Experiments and CFD simulation.

3. Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) – Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate (PA)

• Project Code: N 2.2
• Broad Area: Design and development of smart sensors and Li-Fi enabled sensor networks for detecting gas leakages.
• JRF Essential Qualification: Post graduate Degree in Professional courses selected through CSIR-UGC NET (including lectureship/Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or National examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and Agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MOE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.).
• PA Qualification (If JRF qualification is not met): B.Tech./M.Tech. in EEE/ EE/ IT/ CS/ ECE/ ETC/ Instrumentation Engineering branches with or without GATE qualified OR M.Sc. Electronics/Physics with or without NET qualified.
• Preference: M.Tech in ECE / Electronics & Instrumentation / Instrumentation with specialization in Communication / Instrumentation with at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA, GATE qualification, or relevant project experience.

4. Civil Engineering – Junior Research Fellow (JRF) / Project Associate (PA)

• Project Code: N 3.4.2
• Broad Area: Development of Sustainable Self-Compacting Geopolymer Concrete through use of industrial and agricultural waste.
• JRF Essential Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering with minimum CGPA of 6.5 (60%)/1st class with valid GATE/NET score, AND M.E./M.Tech in Structural Engineering / Construction Technology and Management / Construction Management / Construction Technology with minimum CGPA of 6.5 / 60% / 1st class. Selected through CSIR-UGC NET/GATE or Central Government examinations.
• PA Qualification: IF above qualification is not there.

N.B.: All selected JRF & PA candidates have to enroll into Ph.D Programme at VSSUT.

Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF):
  • First 2 Years: Rs. 37,000 per month
  • Beyond 2 Years: Rs. 42,000 per month
• Project Associate (PA):
  • Rs. 30,000 per month till the completion of project
• HRA: No HRA will be provided.
