DPMU Recruitment 2025: DISTRICT PLANNING & MONITORING UNIT (DPMU) of districts in Odisha has started releasing notification for the engagement of Enumerators on temporary basis for its Statistical wing.

The DISTRICT PLANNING & MONITORING UNIT (DPMU) of districts in Odisha is inviting applications from local youth for the recruitment of Enumerators on temporary basis to conduct the Minor Irrigation Census and Census of Waterbodies. Qualification & Experience

Essential: Applicants must have earned an engineering diploma from an approved government university or completed the 10+2 exam administered by the CHSE, CBSE, or ICSE. Candidates must be able to read, write, and communicate in both English and Odia. Basic computer skills are required of the candidate. A smartphone (Android 10.0 or later) with an internet connection is required. A minimum of 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM are required, as is a minimum battery of 5000 MaH.

Desirable: Candidates with prior experience collecting data via digital apps from government, non-government, educational, or banking institutions will be given preference.

Remuneration

a) Filed Allowance for the 7th MI Census and the 2nd Water Bodies Census, at Rs.900 and Rs.720/-per village, respectively. b) The 7th MI Census will be conducted with Patwari Allowance and Rs.2300 each village. c) Fees of Rs.750/-for the use of personal mobile devices prior to the second water body census. Allowance of Rs.165/-per day for training attendance. g) There is no TA or DA for field work.

Job responsibility
Using a mobile app, the enumerator will carry out fieldwork for the 7th Minor Irrigation Census and the 2nd Census of Water Bodies in a maximum of 40 villages or 10 Urban Wards within the relevant District.

Selection Procedure of candidates for DPMU Recruitment 2025:

Through examination and assessment of their credentials, qualified applicants will be chosen.
The highest percentage of marks earned in the Matriculation and Intermediate (+2) Exams, with 40% and 60% weighting, respectively, may be used to create a preliminary list of applicants. Candidates with the greatest level of education will be given preference in the event of a tie.

Important Instructions for the candidates regarding DPMU Recruitment 2025:

Since the enumerators’ job is temporary, they won’t be considered DPMUS contractual employees.
Once they have finished the Census Work, they will not file a regularization claim.
The enumerator must sign a formal agreement between the District Planning & Monitoring Unit (1st Party), the Deputy Director (Planning & Statistics), and the selected youths (2nd Party) throughout the engagement time. The agreement must be presented on non-judicial stamp paper for 10/- (Rupees ten only).
The Irrigation and Waterbody Census enumerators will work from the engagement date until the completion of the field survey.
The government-approved SOP in the P&C Department will be followed by the extra terms and conditions for enumerators’ employment.
The authority can take down the advertisement at any moment without giving a reason.
