ICAR Cuttack Recruitment 2025: ICAR – CENTRAL RICE RESEARCH INSTITUTE CUTTACK has released notification for the engagement of Senior Research Fellow(SRF) on purely temporary basis.

Educational Qualification & Experience

The applicant should have pursued M.Sc. in Biotechnology/Agri. Biotechnology/any discipline of Life Science/ Botany with 4 years/ 5 years of bachelor’s degree M.Sc. (Biotechnology or Botany or Life Science) with 3 years Bachelor’s degree. NET qualified and 2 years of research experience. OR M.Sc. (Biotechnology or Botany or Life Science)
Experience: The applicant is required to have 3 years Bachelor’s degree. NET qualified and 2 years of research experience.

Collection, Characterization of rice false smut isolates. Rice tissue culture and transformation for editing of candidate gene

Remuneration
The candidate will receive Rs. 31,000/+ HRA as per rule for 1st & 2nd year and Rs. 35,000/- p.m. + HRA for 3rd year

Age Limit
Maximum age for men: 35; maximum age for women: 40

Project tenure
The project’s duration is up to date:31.08.2025 or till completion of the project.

Terms & Conditions:

The aforementioned position or positions are co-terminus with the project or scheme and are entirely transitory. The appointed applicant will not have any right to be absorbed into CRRI/ICAR, and their employment will immediately end upon the scheme/project’s expiration or the conclusion of the time frame specified in the selection offer, whichever comes first. According to Indian government regulations, candidates who are SC, ST, or OBC are exempt from the aforementioned age restrictions.
In order to participate in a walk-in interview that consists of a written and in-person interview on the designated date, time, and location, eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to bring one recent passport-size photo, original educational certificates (from matriculation onward), a Xerox copy, and an experience certificate of a relevant subject (per advertisement). During the certificate verification process, a completed biodata form that can be downloaded from the Internet must be deposited with a copy of the certificates.
The Director of ICAR-CRRI RRI retains the authority to change the number of positions or to halt the hiring process for the aforementioned post. The director’s choice will be final and enforceable in every way.
There is no admissible TA or DA for attending the interview.
Any kind of canvassing will result in the candidate’s disqualification.
If the candidate is currently employed, they must provide a certificate from their current employer stating that they have no objections to attending the interview.
Candidates will not be considered after 10.30 a.m.
