KGBV Kesinga Kalahandi Recruitment 2025: KGBV, Boringpadar under Kesinga Block Kalahandi has issued notification for the engagement of Assistant Cook, Attendant and Chowkidar.

KGBV, Boringpadar under Kesinga Block Kalahandi invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Assistant Cook, Attendant and Chowkidar. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the following vacancy details before applying for the positions.

Qualification, Eligibility & Job Responsibility

1. Assistant Cook(Female): i. The candidate needs to be an experienced cook.
ii. The candidate should be aware of the risks associated with using LPG for cooking and the necessary safety measures.
Job Responsibility: In accordance with the menu, the Assistant Cook will assist the Head Cook in obtaining groceries from the store for preparation.
While cooking, the head cook will have assistance from the assistant cook.
She will wash the utensils and clean the kitchen.
She will make sure the dining area is tidy.
Once a week, she will wash the pupils’ cutlery in hot water.
The Assistant Cook and the Housekeeping/Support Staff will make sure that students have access to water, ORS, and lemon drinks during the summer.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, she will also be expected to perform additional tasks for the pupils as needed and delegated by the Warden and HM.
She will supply the pupils with clean drinking water.
2. Chowkidar(Male): The candidate needs to be literate. The applicant must possess good character.
Job Responsibility: At night, from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., the Chowkidar will carry out his duties outside the hostel.
When the Warden, Housekeeping, or Support Staff are not there, he will not enter the girls’ rooms.
For the hostel students’ safety, he will make sure that the hallway lights are maintained.
He will guarantee the protection of the prisoners as well as the security of the hostel and its belongings.
In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, he will need to perform additional tasks as assigned by the HM and Warden.
3. Attendant(Lady Peon): The applicant must have passed matriculation.
Job Responsibility: She will be supervised by the Warden and HM.
Once a day, she will use phenyl to clean the hostel rooms.
She would use phenyl to clean the restrooms and toilets twice a day.
She will fill in the visiting register with the names of the parents and guests.
If necessary, she will go with girls to school and college to study.
If necessary, she will go with the Warden to transport students to the hospital when they are ill.
She’ll remain at the hostel.
In addition to the responsibilities listed above, she will also need to take on various
works for the pupils as needed and as delegated by the Warden and HM.
