OHPC GET Recruitment 2025: ODISHA HYDRO POWER CORPORATION LTD (OHPC) has released recruitment notification on 31/05/2025 for the engagement of GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEES (GETs) through valid GATE score -2025.

In order to position competent individuals in various units and project sites, OHPC is seeking applications from GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEES (GETs) in a variety of disciplines with valid GATE scores -2025. Remuneration
The Stipend payable during the training period is Rs.50,000 and after successful completion of training, they will be paid Initial Basic Pay scale of Rs.56,100 – Rs.1,77,500 plus DA, HRA & other allowances.

Qualification & Eligibility

GET (Electrical): i. Full time Degree in Electrical Engineering/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering Engineering, from recognized University/ Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or AMIE in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
ii. She/he must have taken and passed the IIT-conducted GATE-2025 exam and have a valid GATE score.
GET (Civil): i. AICTE-approved full-time degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or institution with at least 60% of marks in aggregate, or AMIE in civil engineering with at least 50% of the marks in aggregate. However, the minimum percentage of marks needed for candidates who are SC, ST, or PWD is 50%.
ii. She/he must have taken and passed the IIT-conducted GATE-2025 exam and have a valid GATE score.
GET (Mechanical): i. AICTE-approved full-time degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or institution with at least 60% of marks in aggregate, or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering with at least 50% of the marks in aggregate. However, the minimum percentage of marks needed for candidates who are SC, ST, or PWD is 50%.
ii. She/he must have taken and passed the IIT-conducted GATE-2025 exam and have a valid GATE score.
GET (Instrumentation & Control): i. Full time Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation & Control) or PG Diploma in Instrumentation and Control from a recognized University/ Institution, approved by AICTE with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. However, for SC/ST/PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.
ii. She/he must have taken and passed the IIT-conducted GATE-2025 exam and have a valid GATE score.

Age limit
A candidate must be at least 21 years old and no older than 32 years old as of May 1, 2025, in order to be eligible for GETs. The upper age limit is relaxable as per govt norms, for the candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC/ Women/ Ex-Serviceman

Application fee and Payment mode for OHPC GET Recruitment 2025:

UR and SEBC candidates must deposit a non-refundable A/C payee Demand Draft (DD) for Rs. 750, payable at Bhubaneswar, made out solely to ODISHA HYDRO POWER CORPORATION LTD. On the back of the demand draft, the candidate must write his or her name, birthdate, and phone number or mobile number. PWD candidates (those with a disability of at least 40%) and members of Odisha’s Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) are excused from paying the application fee.

Selection procedure for for OHPC GET Recruitment 2025:

Out of all the applicants, individuals will be selected for further consideration based only on their GATE score (2025) (Marks out of 100). There will be no personal interview. 2024 or prior GATE scores are invalid.
The shortlisted applicants will be contacted to verify their documents. The OHPC website will host the list of qualified selected applicants for Document Verification. The shortlisted candidates’ email addresses will receive the call letter. Regarding this, no additional correspondence will be accepted.
After document verification, the chosen candidates will get an offer of appointment based on their qualifications. The career marks will be taken into account to determine their merit in the event that the GATE scores are tied. However, the chosen candidates’ ultimate employment will depend on their medical suitability in accordance with the established criteria.

Application Procedure for OHPC GET Recruitment 2025:

i. Application on A4-sized paper in the format prescribed (which can be downloaded from the website (www.ohpcltd.com or the link given below) with two recent passport-sized color photos (one to be enclosed and signed on the front and pasted on the form). Included with the application form must be the required documents:

The completed application form and any necessary enclosures must be sent by ordinary mail to the Chief General Manager (HR), Odisha Hydro Power Corporation Limited, OHPC Corporate Office, Bhoi Nagar Janpath, Bhubaneswar-751022, in an envelope with the superscript “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF GET” (if applicable). This must be done by July 5, 2025, at the latest.

Important Dates for OHPC GET Recruitment 2025:

The start date for offline application submission and application fee payment (via DD) is June 6, 2025.

The last date for receiving applications in physical copy, complete with all enclosures, is July 5, 2025.
