- Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Social Science, Commerce, or Languages.
- M. Ed.10.
- Ph.D. in Education.
- Teaching Experience: Ten years for Professor or eight years for Associate Professor in a teacher education institution.
- Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the UGC.
- Desirable: Diploma/Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership.
Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline and Pedagogy (05 Posts)
- Essential Qualifications:
- Postgraduate degree in the concerned discipline with 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- B. Ed. Degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.
- National Eligibility Test (NET) / Ph. D. in Education or in the concerned subject, as prescribed by the UGC.
- Desirable: i) M. Ed. ii) Ph.D. in Education.
📝 Key Terms of Engagement
- Tenure: The post is initially for one year and may be extended annually, with a one-day break, based on satisfactory performance.
- Contractual Status: Appointed contractual teachers shall not claim for regular teaching posts. An undertaking on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper is required for this.
- Guidelines: Appointees must abide by the Self-Financing Course Guidelines of the University.
