Director of Aviation
Qualification:-Graduate or postgraduate work in any discipline, with a preference for engineering, public policy, business administration, aviation, or a similar subject. Advanced certificates in security, aviation safety, or airport management (preferentially DGCA/BCAS recognized courses).
Experience: At least fifteen years of expertise in airport administration, aviation operations, regulatory compliance, or policy implementation. A track record of success in air traffic control, aviation infrastructure development, and handling PPP projects, as well as carrying out major aviation projects. Comprehensive understanding of international aviation regulatory frameworks, including DGCA, BCAS, AAI, and MoCA.
Job Summary: In Odisha, the Director of Aviation is in charge of managing and supervising the operations of the state’s airports, airstrips, heliports, and helipads. This position entails building aviation infrastructure, making sure that DGCA and BCAS rules are followed, putting the Odisha State Civil Aviation Policy into practice, and improving regional connectivity under the UDAN/RCS program. In addition, the Director will be crucial to budget planning, PPP project development, airfield security, VIP/VVIP management, and disaster management operations.
Remuneration: The candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 2,50,000
Deputy Director – Operations and protocol
Qualification:-Graduate or postgraduate work in any field, with a preference for engineering, business management, aviation management, or similar disciplines.
Specialized credentials in security, aviation safety, or airport operations (preferentially DGCA/BCAS/ICAO certified courses).
Experience: ten or more years of expertise in infrastructure design, airport operations, aviation safety, ARFF management, or regulatory compliance. Proficiency in emergency planning, aerodrome safety, airport security management, and SMS deployment. Strong familiarity with MoCA regulations, DGCA, BCAS, AAI, and ICAO standards.
Job Summary: In order to ensure regulatory compliance, aviation safety, security, and operational efficiency, the Deputy Director of Operations is in charge of managing the daily operations of Odisha’s airports, airstrips, heliports, and helipads. Aerodrome safety, emergency preparation, aviation security management, staffing and deploying Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) services, and putting Safety Management Systems (SMS) into place are all part of this function. In addition, the Deputy Director will supervise airport safety, guarantee adherence to DGCA and BCAS rules, and improve operational preparedness for emergency response and catastrophe management.

Assistant Director – Flight Operations and Business Development
Qualification:-a bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, aviation management, or a similar discipline.
A master’s degree in aviation management or finance, such as an MBA, is preferred.
Experience: 8–10 years of expertise in public-private partnership (PPP) project execution, airport business development, aviation operations, or finance management. It is very desirable to have experience managing flight operations, planning aviation projects, or collaborating with regulatory bodies such as the DGCA, MoCA, or AAI. It is imperative to possess expertise in aviation financing, RFP preparation, VGF structure, and PPP project execution.
Job Summary: In addition to supervising aviation business development activities, the Assistant Director of Flight Operations and Business Development will spearhead projects pertaining to the operation of state-owned or rented aircraft. Among the responsibilities of this position are flying operations management, Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS) implementation, financial structuring supervision, including Viability Gap Funding (VGF), and aviation public-private partnership (PPP) project execution. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee the implementation of aviation policy, land monetization plans, and airport commercialization.
Remuneration: The candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.1,50,000
Senior Executive – MIS
Qualification:-5+ years with the government (ideally in aviation) and a graduate degree or computer certificate. It is preferred to have an MBA in IT management, MIS, or aviation.
Experience: five to seven years of expertise in data analytics, MIS, or aviation-related positions.
It is preferable to have prior experience with infrastructure management, regulatory compliance, or airport operations.
Job Summary: By overseeing data, reports, and analytics pertaining to the administration and operations of airports, airstrips, heliports, and helipads throughout Odisha, the Senior Executive-MIS will assist the Director of Aviation. For aviation infrastructure, UDAN/RCS implementation, airport security, safeguarding, and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects, this position entails data-driven decision-making, regulatory compliance monitoring, and project performance tracking.

Accountable Executive – Airport Operations & Maintenance
Qualification:- Graduate or postgraduate work in any field. preferably in engineering, aviation, or airport management.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, regulatory compliance, airport operations, or similar sectors.
Job Summary: The Accountable Executive will oversee the general management and upkeep of the airport in question, making sure that all DGCA Civil Aviation Requirements (CARs), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) regulations, aerodrome safety standards, and effective passenger facilitation are followed. This position will guarantee safe airport surroundings, regulatory compliance, and efficient airport operations.
Remuneration: The candidate will receive a consolidated monthly salary of Rs.60,000
Safety Manager – Airport
Qualification:- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in any area; retired pilots from the military or civil service with a desired
Experience: At least ten years of expertise in safety and airside operations
Job Summary: On the airside, the Safety Manager is in charge of upholding operational safety and making sure that DGCA and ICAO safety requirements are followed. The position facilitates the use of the airport’s Safety Management System (SMS), incident prevention, and risk management.

Airport Terminal Manager
Qualification:- Retired aviation personnel from the civil or military forces are favored. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited university is required.
Experience: Ten years or more of experience managing facilities, transporting passengers, or operating airports.
