Sainik School Nagrota Recruitment 2026: Sainik School Nagrota invites applications from eligible and suitable candidates for the following posts on contractual basis for an initial period of one year (11) serving months plus 01 month break period), extendable annually up to a maximum period of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and institutional requirements.

• Lab Assistant (Chemistry): 01 Post (UR Category)
• Ward Boys: 04 Posts (03 x Unreserved and 01 x OBC)
• Band Master: 01 Post (UR Category)
• PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female): 01 Post (UR Category)
• Counselor: 01 Post (UR Category)

Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)

(a) Lab Assistant (Chemistry)

• Age Limit: Between 18 and 50 yrs as on last date of receipt of application.
• Essential: Intermediate Science or equivalent in the subject.
• Desirable: Higher qualification will be preferred.

(b) Ward Boys

• Age Limit: Between 18 and 50 years as on last date of receipt of application.
• Essential: Matriculation
• Desirable:
  1. Higher Qualification.
  2. Proficiency in spoken English and sports.
  3. Basic knowledge in Computers and First Aid.

(c) Band Master

• Age Limit: Between 18 and 50 years as on last date of receipt of application.
• Essential: Potential Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major course at the AEC Training and Centre, Pachmarhi or eqvt. Naval/Air Force Courses
• Desirable: Proficiency in sports and extra-curricular activities.

(d) PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female)

• Age Limit: Between 21 and 50 years as on last date of receipt of application
• Essential: Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed)-4 yrs Degree Course. OR Three years Graduation. One year B.P.Ed Diploma, OR B.Sc Physical Education; Health Education & Sports + One year B.P.Ed Diploma
• Desirable:
  1. Experience of working in Residential schools as Warden/Matron
  2. Proficiency in sports/ participation in State and/or National level in any sport.
  3. NCC certificate holder.

(e) Counselor

• Age Limit: Between 21 and 50 years as on last date of receipt of application
• Essential: Graduate/Post Graduate in Psychology OR Post Graduate in Child Development OR Graduate/Post Graduate with Diploma in Counseling, with at least 50% marks.
• Desirable:
  1. Minimum of One year Experience in Providing Career Educational Counseling to students at schools.
  2. Working knowledge and experience in placement Bureaus
  3. Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational
  4. Interested in other extracurricular activities and aptitude for residential school life style.

Salary Details (वेतन विवरण)

• Lab Assistant (Chemistry): Consolidated Salary: Rs 25,500/- per month (except vacation / break period) with rent free suitable accommodation.
• Ward Boys: Consolidated Salary: Rs. 20,000/- Per month (except break period) with rent free suitable accommodation and Free Messing with Cadets
• Band Master: Consolidated Salary: Rs 29,200/- Per month (except vacation / break period) with rent free suitable accommodation and Free Messing with Cadets
• PEM/PTI-cum-Matron (Female): Consolidated Salary: Rs 25,500/- Per month (except break period) with rent free suitable accommodation and Free Messing with Cadets
• Counselor: Consolidated Salary: Rs. 35,000/- Per month (except vacation / break period) with rent free suitable accommodation and Free Messing with Cadets

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process)

• Performance shall be formally evaluated on a quarterly basis by the Vice Principal/Administrative Officers and reviewed by the Principal, with renewal based on all four quarterly assessments.
• Extension for one year may be considered by the Principal, subject to satisfactory performance, institutional requirements and comprehensive assessment.

महत्वपूर्ण दिशा-निर्देश (Important instructions)

• Contractual appointment shall not, under any circumstances, exceed a maximum period of three years from the date of appointment.
• Upon completion of each 11 months service period, further extension for one year may be considered by the Principal, subject to satisfactory performance, institutional requirements and comprehensive assessment.
• A one-month break shall be applicable after every 11 months of service, during which no remuneration shall be payable.
• In case of extension, remuneration shall resume after the break for the subsequent 11 month cycle.
• Contractual staff shall have no claim or right to regular appointment.
• Applications received after last date will be rejected.
• The school administration reserves the right to increase/decrease/cancel the vacancy due to administrative/policy reasons. No formal intimation will be given to the applicants.
