OSSSC Radiographer Recruitment 2026: The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has issued an official notification for recruitment to the post of Radiographer-2026. OSSSC invites applications online through the OSSSC website www.osssc.gov.in for recruitment to 240 number of District Cadre Group-C posts of Radiographer in all 30 District establishments under the Health & Family Welfare Department of the Government of Odisha.

OSSSC Radiographer’s Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)
1. Age Limit
- A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 42 years as on the date of advertisement.
- Upper Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST / SEBC / Women: Relaxable by 5 years.
- Persons with Disabilities (PwDs): Relaxable by 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: Relaxable by total period of service rendered in defence service.
- Contractual Radiographers under OSH&FW Society/Scheme: Upper age limit shall be 45 years as on the date of advertisement.
2. Educational Qualification
- Passed +2 Science Examination under Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha or equivalent.
- Passed Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) or Bachelor in Medical Radiation Technology (BMRT) from any Government Medical College and Hospitals of the state or any other private institutions recognized by Government of Odisha or All India Council of Technical Education.
3. Registration
- A candidate must have registered his/her name in the Radiographers Council in the State and have possessed valid Registration or Renewal Certificates as on the date of submission of online application form.
4. Language Ability
- A candidate must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed Middle School Examination / Matriculation / Class-VII / M.E. School Standard test with Odia as a language subject.
5. Other Criteria
- Must be a citizen of India.
- Must be of good character.
- If married, must not have more than one spouse living.
OSSSC Radiographer’s Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)
- Scale of Pay: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100
- Pay Matrix Level: Level-7, Cell-01 (as per ORSP Rules 2017)
Job location (କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସ୍ଥାନ)
- District Cadre: The vacancies in the post of Radiographer are of district cadre. District cadre means a candidate, after being selected, will be posted and transferred within the district (across all 30 District establishments under the Health & Family Welfare Department of Government of Odisha).
ଚୟନପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା (Selection Process) for OSSSC Radiographer Recruitment
The selection process consists of a Written Test followed by Document Verification:
1. Plan of Written Test
There shall be a Written Test for 100 marks (MCQ type in OMR/CBRE Mode) in one paper only (2 hours duration):

- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: 30% for ST, SC, PwDs, and Ex-Servicemen; 35% for other categories.
2. Document Verification
Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the Written Test will be screened for Document Verification (not less than 1.25 times the number of vacancies advertised, category-wise in order of merit).

- Fresh Candidates (New User): Register for the post by clicking on “Apply Online” on the Home page.
- Registered Users: Login and select “Re-registration” option provided under the Applicant Menu.
- Fill in detailed data and information as per documents after completing Registration/Re-registration.
- Examination Fee:
- SC, ST, and PwD candidates: Exempted.
- All other candidates: ₹500/- payable online via Net Banking / Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI.
- Note: The Examination fee of ₹500/- paid shall be refunded to applicants who actually appear for the examination.

- Certificate of Registration in Radiographers Council of State of Odisha.
- HSC Examination pass certificate / equivalent.
- +2 Science pass certificate / equivalent.
- Diploma in Medical Radiation Technology (DMRT) or Bachelor in Medical Radiation Technology (BMRT) certificate.
- Certificate of passing Odia as a language subject in Class-VII or above / M.E. School Standard test.
- Caste Certificate (for SC/ST/SEBC candidates) / UDID Card / Disability Certificate (for PwD candidates).
- Discharge Certificate / Identity Card and undertaking for Ex-Servicemen.
- Appointment letter / contractual work experience certificate for contractual Radiographers under OSH&FW Society/Scheme.
- Scanned full specimen signature (JPG/JPEG/PNG format, 20 KB to 50 KB).
- Scanned recent passport size coloured photograph (JPG/JPEG/PNG format, 20 KB to 100 KB).

- Mere Registration/Re-registration does not mean complete filing of online Application.
- Applications other than online mode / incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected.
- Applicants must have a personal valid email ID and mobile number active until the recruitment process is completed.
- No physical Admission Letter will be sent by post; candidates must download it from the official website.
- Under no circumstances will candidates be allowed to fill more than one Application Form.
- Applicants having temporary disability should not apply under the PwD category.
