Qualification & Experience	Two years of R&D experience in academic and industrial institutions, science and technology organizations, and scientific activities and services, as well as a Master’s degree in life sciences or biotechnology from an accredited university or its equivalent. Preference will be given to applicants with bioinformatics experience, particularly in NGS data analysis.
Remuneration	i) Candidates who have passed the CSIR-UGC NET National Eligibility Tests, including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE, or (b) a selection process using national level exams administered by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions, will receive INR 42,000/- + HRA. ii) INR 33,000 + HRA for individuals not covered by the aforementioned.

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA@16%

Qualification: Applicants must have a B.Sc. or an equivalent degree in the life sciences or related fields like biotechnology, microbiology, or biochemistry with at least 55% of marks, or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC, ST, or SC).

Desirable: Candidates with a background in plant molecular biology, practical experience in plant tissue culture methods, virus inoculation, and bioinformatics will be given preference.

Age Requirement: As on July 8, 2025, the candidate must be younger than 28. Candidates would be granted age relaxation in accordance with Indian government regulations.

Tenure: The contract will run for seven months, or until the project is finished.
