Title of the Project : SERB funded project “Elucidating the miRNA-encoded peptide-mediated regulation of miR159 during Tomato leaf Curl New Delhi virus infection in tomato”

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA@16%

Qualification: Applicants must have a B.Sc. or an equivalent degree in the life sciences or related fields like biotechnology, microbiology, or biochemistry with at least 55% of marks, or an equivalent grade point (50% for OBC, ST, or SC).

Desirable: Candidates with a background in plant molecular biology, practical experience in plant tissue culture methods, virus inoculation, and bioinformatics will be given preference.

Age Requirement: As on July 8, 2025, the candidate must be younger than 28. Candidates would be granted age relaxation in accordance with Indian government regulations.

Tenure: The contract will run for seven months, or until the project is finished.
