TGT: To be eligible to work at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) as Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT), a candidate needs to have a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in the relevant areas or subject combinations. In addition, the candidate must hold a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) degree or its equivalent from an accredited university.

A four-year integrated degree program in the relevant subject from the Regional College of Education of NCERT with a minimum aggregate mark of 50%.
PRT: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% in Senior Secondary (10+2) and either a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree in order to be eligible to work as Primary Teachers (PRT) for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS). Furthermore, passing Paper I of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is required.
PET: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) and either a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) degree in order to be eligible to work as Primary Teachers (PRT) for Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).
