  • Work with NP-NCD team to integrate NCD & environmental health interventions.
  • Provide technical and programmatic support to states on planning, procurement, HR, and fund utilization.
  • Assist in PIP preparation, review programme performance, and monitor district-level implementation.
  • Facilitate multi-sectoral action plans, training evaluations, and digital outreach for NCD awareness.
  • Build collaborations with govt., NGOs, academia & private partners.
  • Document and disseminate best practices & success stories.
  • Represent NP-NCD in technical forums, workshops, and conferences.

๐ŸŽ“ Eligibility

  • Option A: MBBS/BDS/AYUSH with PG in Community Medicine/Health/Public Health + 2 yearsโ€™ post-PG experience
  • Option B: Masterโ€™s in Environmental Science/Biotech + 5 yearsโ€™ experience in public health programmes (National/State level)

Vacancy overview for NHSRC Recruitment 2025/Senior Consultant – Monitoring and Evaluation (M & E)

Qualification and Experience for the post relating to NHSRC Recruitment 2025:

i. Masters or postgraduate degrees in statistics, health statistics, public health informatics, operations research, demography, population studies, economics, social sciences, anthropology, development studies, public health, or an MBA in health management from accredited UGC or AICTE universities.
ii. At least five years of experience managing the MoHFW RCH Portal at the federal or state level.

Desired skills required for the post relating to NHSRC Recruitment 2025:

i. Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of widely used Windows, Microsoft Office, and software products.
ii. Expertise in creating instruments and plans for gathering, analyzing, and producing reports

Roles and responsibilities for the post relating to NHSRC Recruitment 2025:

  1. The creation of quality and standard concept documents, design documents, process flow documents, implementation frameworks, guidelines, protocols, and user manuals in response to the requirements requires an understanding of the functional and technical requirements from the departments (Centre, State/UT, and other involved stakeholders) for program implementation.
  2. Work with senior government and ministry officers to operationalize and integrate the analytical framework with the current MCTS and RCH systems.
  3. Conduct recurring field visits to States, UTs, and districts to assess the quality of MCTS and RCH data, find issues and gaps, and follow up with the States to correct data errors.
  4. To train officers at the State and District levels on a variety of MCTS/RCH portal topics, such as data reporting formats, reports, and data usage. To create report templates, scorecards, dashboards, and indicators in accordance with requirements

i. To look for discrepancies in the data, follow up with the states to fix any problems in the HMIS data, and provide reports for various stakeholders based on data analysis using statistical software (SAS)
ii. Coordinating with top government and ministry officials to operationalize and incorporate the analytical framework into the HMIS system.
iii. Conduct recurring field trips to States, UTs, and districts to assess the quality of HMIS data, spot problems and gaps, and follow up with the States to correct data inaccuracies.
