IHM Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2025: Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition Bhubaneswar has released notification for the engagement of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC).

IHM Bhubaneswar invites applications from eligible candidates for filling up the position of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC) on direct recruitment. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the vacancy details before applying for the post.

Qualification
Essential: The applicant should have completed 10+2 or higher secondary school with a typing speed of 40 words per minute.
Desirable: The applicant should have one year of computer application experience.
Age Limit
The candidate’s age should not be more than 28 years as of May 26, 2025.
The upper age restriction for SCs, STs, and departmental candidates may be lowered by up to five years, as specified from time to time by the Indian government.
Pay Scale
The scale of pay will be PB-01 of Pay Level – 02 (As per 7th CPC) Rs.19,900 – 63,200.

Mode of selection:

There will be Written & Skill Test + Personal Interview. The person who scored highly on the written exam and was selected for further consideration will take the qualifying skill test.

How to apply:

The completed application, along with all required enclosures, should be mailed to “The Principal, Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology & Applied Nutrition, Veer Surendra Sai Nagar, Bhubaneswar – 751022,” on or before 26th May, 2025 positively with the envelope clearly marked at the top as “Application for the post of Lower Division Clerk.

General Instructions:

  1. The Institute’s website, www.ihmbbs.org, provides the prescribed application form and comprehensive notification. Interested and qualified candidates must apply using the prescribed form and include a recent passport-size photo and self-attested copies of all supporting documentation, including proof of date of birth, education, and work experience.
  2. The employer should produce a No Objection Certificate at the time of the interview; if not, the candidate will not be permitted to attend.
  3. The final date of application receipt, which is May 26, 2025, will decide the qualifying requirements, including age, education, and appropriate work experience.
  4. Applications must be submitted to this institute by May 26, 2025, with all enclosures included. Application forms that do not include self-attested supporting documentation or testimonials will be deemed void. Applications that are incomplete or submitted after May 26, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. will be disqualified. Any postal delays will not be the Institute’s responsibility.
  5. Those who meet the requirements for the aforementioned position will be invited for an interview. At the time of the interview, candidates will need to present original documentation of the information they provided in their application.
  6. Candidates who are called for interviews will not receive any TA or DA.
  7. Without giving a justification, the appropriate authority retains the right to re-advertise the position or to choose not to fill the vacancy.
