Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Nuapada, an affiliate of CBSE and a unit of NESTS under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, is inviting eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview for Guest Faculty positions¹. These roles are purely need-based, part-time, and temporary in nature.

TGT Hindi	Bachelor/Honours degree (min. 50% marks in concerned subject and aggregate), B.Ed. from an NCTE recognized institute, qualified in CTET (Paper-II), and computer knowledge.	Qualified: Rs. 33,000 Non-Qualified: Rs. 29,000

Important Guidelines

Documentation: Candidates must bring their Biodata, a set of self-attested photocopies of marksheets and experience certificates (if any), and one passport-sized photograph.
Nature of Engagement: This is an ad-hoc arrangement to ensure academic continuity until March 31, 2026, or until regular teachers are appointed.
Duties: Guest teachers are expected to perform full-time academic activities, including regular teaching, remedial classes, assessments, and supervised study.
No TA/DA: No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
Accountability: Guest teachers will be held accountable for the academic performance of their students.

EMRS Odisha Recruitment 2025: Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Odisha which is established specially for tribal children’s education purpose has announced the hiring of teaching post PGT and TGT as guest teacher/ guest faculty across Odisha. As of now EMRS (Eklavya Model Residential Schools) in few districts have already issued the notifications for the recruitment of PGTs and TGTs. The vacancy for is open for both freshers and experienced candidates and also for the retired person from govt approved schools.

Eligibility for EMRS Odisha Recruitment for PGTs and TGTs Post

Educational Qualification for PGT position

The candidate needs to have a master degree in relevant subject with B.Ed.

Educational Qualification for TGT position

The candidates should have completed a graduation degree with relevant subjects combination and also need to have B.Ed.

Age Limit

The applicant must be at least 21 years old and no older than 60 at the time of submission. At least 65 years old is a requirement for retired teachers from respectable, government-approved schools.

Remuneration for PGTs and TGTs- EMRS Odisha Recruitment

The salary that is given to the guest teacher is based on NESTS guidelines. According to NESTS guidelines, PGTs without qualifications will be paid Rs. 31,000 per month, while those who are qualified will be paid Rs. 35,000 per month and TGTs without qualifications will be paid Rs. 29,000 per month, while those who are qualified will be paid Rs. 33,000 per month

Selection process for EMRS Odisha Recruitment

The selection for PGT and TGT post comprises of three successive stages. In order to be selected, the candidate has pass all the three stages that is verification of documents and short listing followed by viva-voice and class taking ability test.

Nature of engagement

The guest employees have no claim to regularization of their services because the engagement is entirely ad hoc.
