CIPET CSTS Balasore Recruitment 2026: The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering & Technology (CIPET) CSTS, Balasore invites applications from the eligible candidates for contractual engagement on below mentioned positions :-

Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

1. Lecturer (Plastics Engg. & Technology); Lecturer (Mechanical); & Lecturer (Electronics)

Educational qualification and experience:

• Engineering/Technology: Full time Bachelor’s degree with First Class or equivalent in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline. If the candidate has a full time Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at full time Bachelors or Masters level. Experience: At least 1 year teaching experience in Polytechnic / Engg. College. Preference shall be given to M.E / M. Tech. holder with First Class. OR
• Full time Bachelor’s degree with First Class or equivalent in Engineering/Technology in the relevant discipline.
• If the candidate has a full time Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology, First Class or equivalent is required at full time Bachelors or Masters level; and
• Ph. D in the relevant Discipline.

2. Lecturer (Chemistry); & Lecturer (Physics)

Educational qualification and experience:

• Humanities and Sciences: Full-time First-Class master’s degree in relevant discipline with first class or equivalent at full time Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
• Experience: At least 1 year teaching experience in Polytechnic / Engg. College.

3. Instructor (Skill Development)

Educational & Other qualification:

• Full time First Class B.E./B.Tech, in appropriate/ relevant discipline with minimum 1 year experience OR
• First Class Full time Diploma in appropriate branch /DPT/DPMT/PGD-PPT, with minimum 3 years experience.

Age Limit:

• Lecturers & Instructors: Must be below 65 years.

Salary Details (ଦରମା ବିବରଣୀ)

• Lecturer (Plastics Engineering & Technology): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Lecturer (Mechanical): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Lecturer (Chemistry): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Lecturer (Electronics): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Lecturer (Physics): Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month
• Instructor (Skill Development): Rs. 25,000/- to Rs. 30,000/- per month

ଚୟନପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା (Selection Process)

• The Institute reserves the right to screen and call to participate in the selection process only such candidates who have been recommended by the Screening Committee. Mere fulfilling the eligibility conditions will not automatically entitle a candidate to be called for participating in the selection process.
• Personal, academic, professional and all other details of candidates, basis for short listing, bench mark by the Screening Committee, all reports of the Selection Committee and each and every information in respect of the selection process shall be maintained in strict confidence and will not be revealed to anyone under whatsoever circumstances.
• No enquiries shall be entertained from candidates regarding conduct and result of selection process and reasons for not being called for participating in the selection process. No correspondence shall be entertained from unsuccessful candidates.

1. 10th Std. certificate mentioning Date of Birth as proof of age.
2. Copies of educational qualifications.
3. Copies of previous employment letters including salary slip in support of last salary drawn at each of the previous employment as proof of experience claimed.
4. Bond details with the present employer, if any.
5. Any one Identity Card with photograph (E.g. Voter ID/ Driving Licence / PAN / Identity Proof Card etc.).
6. Copy of salary certificate from the present employer (if applicable).

ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାବଳୀ (Important instructions)

• These positions are purely on contractual basis, renewable as per the applicable terms and conditions subject to performance and recommendations thereto by the concerned CIPET Centre Head provided the maximum term of such engagement on contract shall in no case exceed three years under any circumstances (Initial term: 1 Year, renewable up to 3 years based on performance and requirement).
• Capability to maintain effective working relationship in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment is a mandatory requirement.
• Canvassing in any form and or bringing in any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification on the part of applicant’s candidature.
• Good working knowledge of computers is desirable.
