AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026: AIIMS Bhubaneswar invites applications for the following posts purely temporary contractual basis for the posts of “Project Research Scientist I (1 post), Project Nurse III (1 post) and Project Technical Support II (1 post)” for an ICMR-funded project entitled “Capacity Building Project for Managing Healthcare Associated Infection (HAI) Outbreaks in Tertiary and Secondary Care Hospitals across India – A Hub and Spoke Model as part of Capacity Building Program for Pandemic Preparedness (CBPPP) under PMABHIM”, under Dr. Bijayini Behera, Professor, Department of Microbiology, AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

- Project Research Scientist-I: 1 (one) post
- Project Nurse III: 1 (one) post
- Project Technical Support-II: 1 (one) post
Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)
Educational Qualification & Experience
- Project Research Scientist-I:
- Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology / Medical microbiology / Public Health, including the integrated PG degrees.
- Desirable Qualifications/Skills: One-year post qualification experience in hospital sector will be given preference.
- Project Nurse III:
- Essential Qualification: Four-year Nursing Course.
- Desirable Qualifications/Skills: Minimum 1-year experience of working in Hospital Infection Control will be given preference. Ability to communicate in Odia and Hindi will be preferred.
- Project Technical Support-II:
- Essential Qualification: 12th in Science + 1 year Diploma (MLT/DMLT/Engineering or equivalent) + Five Years’ Experience in relevant subject/field OR Three Years Graduate degree in Microbiology / Medical microbiology / Public Health + two years’ experience in relevant subject.
- Desirable Qualifications/Skills: Minimum 1-year experience of working in Hospital Infection Control will be given preference. Experience in data management with good knowledge in computer in MS office. Ability to communicate in Odia and Hindi will be preferred.
Maximum Age Limit
- Project Research Scientist-I: 35 years
- Project Nurse III: 30 years
- Project Technical Support-II: 30 years
Note: Cut-off date for age limit will be the date of Walk-In-Interview i.e. date of interview. Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates as per government rules.
Salary Details (ଦରମା ବିବରଣୀ)
- Project Research Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Nurse III: Rs. 28,000 + 20% HRA
- Project Technical Support-II: Rs. 20,000 + 20% HRA
(Tenure for all posts is up to 30th December, 2026).

- Selection will be through a Walk-In-Interview.
- Engagement of applicant for a particular position will be decided by the selection committee / appointing authority.
