Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)

For PGTs (Post 01 to 04):

(A) Integrated Post Graduate Course from NCTE recognised institutions, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component.

OR

Master Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subject concerned.

AND

B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

OR

Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

OR

Four years integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution including B.Ed. component.

(Master Degree in the Subject details: In concerned subject or any specialization in any subject provided the candidate has studied concerned subject at Graduation Level. For Commerce: Master In Commerce.)

(B) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English Media.

Desirables:

  • (i) Experienced in TGT in the recognized institution in concerned subject.
  • (ii) Experienced in working in residential school.
  • (iii) Knowledge of Computer Application.

For PGT (Computer Science):

  1. M.Sc.(Computer Science/IT) /MCA from recognized institution with atleast 50% marks.ORM.E. or M.Tech (Computer Science/IT) from recognized institution with atleast 50% marks.
  2. B.Ed. degree from NCTE Recognized institution with atleast 50% marks.ORThree Year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution with atleast 50% marks.ORFour years integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution includiong B.Ed. Component.

For TGTs (Post 06 to 08):

(A) Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject(s) as well as in the aggregate including B.Ed. component.

OR

Bachelors/Honors Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in concerned subject, combination of subjects as well as in the aggregate and B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks/three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks/01 year B.Ed. (Special Education) from RCI recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

OR

Post Graduation in concerned subject / any specialization in concerned subject with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade provided that the candidate has studied the subject(s) mentioned in the note below at the graduation level and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

Subject Combination Details:

  • TGT (Science): Candidates should have studied Biology/Life Science/Botany/Zoology as Hons./Main Subject in at least three years/06 Semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course with following combination of subjects for at least one year or any 2 semesters:
    • Biology/Life Science (Subsidiary: 1. Chemistry & 2. Botany or Zoology)
    • Botany (Subsidiary: 1. Chemistry & 2. Zoology)
    • Zoology (Subsidiary: 1. Chemistry & 2. Botany)(The Candidates who studied under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above subjects combination are also eligible to apply.)
  • TGT (Social Studies): Studied any two subjects out of history, Geography, Economics and Political Science at graduation lavel out of which one must be either History or Geography in at least three year/06 Semester in graduation/four year integrated degree course as an Elective/Main Subject and the second subject for at least one year/any two semester. (The candidates who studied under choice based credit Syestem (CBCS) with the above subjects combination are also eligible to apply.)
  • TGT (Sanskrit): Studied Sanskrit as an Elective/Main subjects in at least three years/06 semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course.

(B) Qualified in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by Government of Uttar Pradesh / Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India.

(C) Competence to teach through English & Hindi media.

Desirable Qualification (TGT):

  • (i) Experienced in working in residential school.
  • (ii) Knowledge of Computer Application.

Age Limit (आयु सीमा):

उक्तानुसार टी०जी०टी० एवं पी०जी०टी०/ गेस्ट फैकल्टी के रूप में कार्य करने हेतु ऐसे व्यक्ति जिनकी आयु दिनांक 01.07.2026 को 50 वर्ष से अधिक न हो और उपरोक्त शर्त धारित करने पर ही आवेदन कर सकते हैं। (Upper Age Limit for all categories of teachers is 50 Years as on 1st July of the year of engagement.)

चयन प्रक्रिया (Selection Process) for Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Azamgarh Recruitment

  • योग्य अभ्यर्थियों का चयन अनुबन्ध के आधार पर शैक्षिक वर्ष 2026-27 (दिनांक 31.03.2027 तक) के लिए किया जाना हैं।
  • Panel of teachers of different categories will be formed on the basis of candidates’ essential academic qualifications, higher qualification in the relevant field, achievements/ award, work experience in relevant subject in recognized schools and personal interaction.
  • Eligible candidates will be called for documents verification & personal talk. Subject wise call letter will be sent by email, if they are found eligible in shortlisting as per Norms.
  • Shortlisted candidate will be called for interview offline whose date, time and venue will be intimated with the call letter.
  • Merit list will be prepared for urgent posting on available vacancies in the concerned subject.
  • The selection will be the under open Quota. Equally for all however to balance Staff (Male/Female) strength equal. The preference will be given to eligible Female Candidates.

Weightage Structure:

A) PGTs Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Essential qualification (from recognized institution): 40 marks (40% of the Percentage obtained in the concerned subject)
  2. B.Ed. (from recognized institution): 10 marks (10% of the Percentage obtained)
  3. Next Higher qualification in the relevant subject (PHD/M.Phil./M.Ed.): 10 marks
  4. Experience in similar capacity in a Govt. Recognized School: 15 marks (02 marks for each completed session in a residential school or 01 mark for each completed session in a non-residential Govt. Recognized School)
  • Total Qualifications Weightage: 75 marks

B) TGTs Evaluation Criteria:

  1. Essential qualification (from recognized institution): 40 marks (20% of overall percentage in UG/PG level whichever is higher) + (20% of percentage in relevant subjects in all three years together in graduation)
  2. B.Ed. (from recognized institution): 5 marks (5% of the Percentage obtained)
  3. Next Higher qualification in the relevant subject: 10 marks (10% of the Percentage obtained)
  4. CTET (Secondary level): 5 marks (5% of the Percentage scored)
  5. Experience in similar capacity in a Govt. Recognized School: 15 marks (02 marks for each completed session in a residential school or 01 mark for each completed session in a non-residential Govt. Recognized School)
  • Total Qualifications Weightage: 75 marks

Personal Interaction for PGTs/TGTs (25 Marks):

  1. Subject Knowledge: 04 marks
  2. Teaching abilities: 04 marks
  3. Personality and General Awareness: 04 marks
  4. Communication Skills (in English/Hindi): 04 marks
  5. Proficiency in applying ICT skills in teaching and learning: 04 marks
  6. Ability to converse in any one of the language of the nation: 02 marks
  7. Weightage of achievement in relevant field/anecdotal record of previous employer: 03 marks

  • Advertisement/Vacancy can be cancelled as per decision of Selection Committee, which can not be Challenged Legally.
