VSSUT recruitment 2025: VEER SURENDRA SAI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (VSSUT) Burla Sambalpur has released notification on 05/06/2025 for the engagement of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position.

Applications are being accepted from qualified applicants for a temporary Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur, for a project financed by the IIT Guwahati Technology Innovation and Development Foundation. Tenure and Nature of Appointment
The position will be terminated at the end of the project and will only be temporary. If the JRF’s performance is deemed unsatisfactory, the PI and Institute retain the right to end the engagement at any moment. The individual involved will not be eligible for any express or implied claims for long-term enrollment at the university.

Remuneration
The JRF will receive Rs.-25,000/- per month as per IITG-TIDF Rules.

Educational Qualification

B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or EEE from an accredited college or university
Experience in theoretical investigations pertaining to structural dynamics, such as vibration analysis and response spectrum techniques, is preferred.
Candidates who possess a thorough comprehension of soft computing techniques.
The capacity to carry out numerical simulations or experimental research to examine the behavior of dam constructions.
Having a GATE score.
Desirable:

Based on their availability and area of expertise, as well as other project-specific needs, candidates will be selected for interviews.
Only those who have been shortlisted will be permitted to attend the interview; the date and time will be communicated by phone or email.
Those who have been selected for an interview should show up in person with their original certificates (one set of Xerox copies), proof of birth, and any other pertinent documentation (such as copies of publications, prizes, etc.).
Attending the interview is not eligible for any kind of reimbursement, including travel expenses.
Absentia candidates will not be taken into consideration.
The project’s principal investigator retains the right to change the notification or to fill the post at any time; in the event of a dispute, the Institute’s and the PI’s decision will be final.
Only local jurisdiction applies to all legal ramifications.

On or before June 15, 2025, interested and qualified applicants should send a hard copy of their completed application and self-attested copies of their supporting documentation to the Registrar at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology, Burla, Sambalpur-768018, via courier, registered mail, or speed mail. The university shall not be held accountable for any application delays caused by the mail. Applications will be deemed canceled if they are received after the specified date. “Application for the post of JRF (IITG-TIDF)” should be written on the envelope by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at VSSUT Burla.
