Department of Women and Child Development Govt of Odisha has issued notification on 07/05/2025 for filling up vacancy under MAMATA Scheme for the post of District Programme Coordinators (DPCs) on contractual basis.

Department of Women and Child Development Govt of Odisha is inviting application from eligible candidates for the post of District Programme Co-ordinators (DPCs) on contractual basis for the Kalahandi, Keonjhar & Rayagada Districts under MAMATA Scheme. Educational Qualification/Experience/Desirability
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degrees in any field, ideally social sciences, life sciences, nutrition, medicine, health management, social work, MBA, or rural management, should have been pursued by the candidate.
Experience: Working for a government or non-government organization for at least five years
Desirability: (i) Proficiency with Microsoft Office (accompanied, if relevant, by documentation of completion of a computer course such as DCA/PGDCA, etc.). (ii) Proficiency in both Odia and English, as well as translation from one language to the other.
Remuneration
District Programme Coordinators (DPCs) will receive Rs.35,000/- monthly as remuneration.

Selection Process:

The assessment will be done on the following way:-

Career marks – 40%, Experience – 30%, Interview –30%

How to apply:

The completed application in the required format, together with photocopies of all certificates, should be sent by registered mail, speed mail, or in person to the Additional Secretary (MAMATA) W&CD Department, Lokseva Bhawan, Bhubaneswar, Khordha-751001 by 5 PM on May 31, 2025.

In addition to their applications, candidates must bring the following documents to the interview:

  1. a properly completed application form in the format specified.
  2. A current passport-sized photo should be inserted in the application form’s designated space.
  3. A single set of photocopies of the supporting documents for credentials, experience, etc. The candidate will not be approved if copies of the necessary paperwork or certifications are not sent with the application and the originals are not present during the interview.

General Instructions:

  1. To effectively carry out her/his responsibilities in the local language, the candidate must be an Odisha native.
  2. The job is contractual, and it will be renewed annually if the incumbent performs satisfactorily.
  3. The position is coterminous with the plan during such a renewal. Regardless of the remaining contract length, the position will be terminated if the scheme is closed.
  4. Copies of all pertinent certificates attesting to the candidates’ education, work history, and other credentials must be included with the application.
  5. Candidates’ performance and selections will be taken into consideration when assigning them to districts.
  6. There would be no TA or DA for attending the interview.
  7. Candidates who do not meet the qualifying requirements will not be taken into consideration for the selection process.
  8. Incomplete applications from applicants will not be considered.
  9. The department retains the right, subject to regulations, to modify the aforementioned timetable and circumstances.
