Applications are invited for the following four posts:

Both retired Government employees and fresh candidates are encouraged to apply. However, the eligibility criteria differ for each post¹⁵.

1. Surveyor-cum-Tracer

• Retired Candidates: Must be retired from the post of Revenue Supervisor/Revenue Inspector/Assistant Revenue Inspector/Amin¹⁶.
• Fresh Candidates:
  • Must possess revenue field knowledge.
  • Passed at least +3 examination or equivalent.
  • Passed at least Diploma in Computer Application.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.

2. Senior Assistant

• Retired Candidates: Must be retired from the post of Section Officer/Senior Assistant.
• Fresh Candidates:
  • Must possess knowledge in drafting, office establishment, service-related matters, etc..
  • Passed at least +3 examination or equivalent.
  • Passed at least Diploma in Computer Application.
  • Must be over 21 years of age.

3. Computer Operator

• Retired Candidates: Must be retired from the post of Junior Assistant with expertise in data entry, basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, and e-mail etc.).
• Fresh Candidates:
  • Passed at least +2 examination or equivalent.
  • Passed at least Diploma in Computer Application.
  • Must be over 18 years of age.

4. Peon

• Retired Candidates: Must be retired from the post of Process Server/Peon.
• Fresh Candidates: Must be over 18 years of age.

General Requirements (Applicable to All Posts and Candidates)

All candidates must meet the following general standards:

• Ability to speak, read, and write Odia and must have passed a test in Odia equivalent to the M.E. standard.
• Must be of good character.
• Must be in sound health, good physique, and free from any organic or bodily infirmity
• If married, should not have more than one spouse living.

Important Conditions for Retired Employees

Retired employees must ensure they are eligible for re-engagement. Those against whom a vigilance case, departmental proceeding, or criminal prosecution is contemplated or pending, or who have been penalized for misconduct in the preceding five years of retirement, or who are members of a political party will not be considered.

Also note that this contractual engagement will not be counted as Government service for the purpose of pension or any other retirement benefit.
