Govt College Sundargarh job vacancy 2025: Govt College Sundargarh has released notification 29/05/2025 for the engagement of guest faculty through walk-in-interview for the academic session 2025-26.

Govt College Sundargarh is going to conduct walk-in-interview for the recruitment of guest faculty in various subjects of Arts, Commerce and Science Stream on contractual basis. The interested candidates are suggested to go through the following vacancy details before attending the interview.

Educational Qualification
1. A master’s degree in the relevant field with at least 50% of the marks or an equivalent grade is required of the candidate. 2. The applicant should have B.Ed. or equivalent degree recognized by NCTE, New Delhi, in case of B.Ed. subjects.

Remuneration
The following are the remuneration that will be given to guest faculties as per the guidelines of the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Odisha letter No. 6819 dt.28.05.2025. There is a limitation of 50 classes per month, and the compensation is Rs.400 per class.

Procedure of selection of guest faculty

As per the guidelines of the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Govt. of Odisha letter No. 6819 dt.28.05.2025. Selection is to be made as per the following order of preference:
1. Retired Government College/HSS teachers who are still under 65, provided their performance prior to retirement was satisfactory.
2. Retired instructors from Aided College or HSS who were receiving GIA from the government and who had not reached the age of 65. If there are more retired teachers available than needed, the principal will choose the best candidate.
3. In the event that retired teachers are not available, new applicants will be chosen based on merit using the selection process listed below.
Section Criteria:
The selection will be done on basis of career marking in the following way:
Ph.D.= 0, NET= 0, M.Phil.= 0, Master degree= 25 marks, B.Ed.= 25 marks,
Bachelor degree= 15 marks, +2 or equivalent= 10 marks, HSC or equivalent= 10 marks

Retired teachers of Govt. Colleges/ HS Schools or GIA teachers of Aided colleges/ HS
Schools below the age of 65 years or fresh candidates

General instructions for candidates:

Attending the walk-in interview will not result in any payment of TA, DA, or other benefits.
The authority retains the right, at any moment and without providing a justification, to cancel all or a portion of the panel or advertisement.
Engagement of the empanelled applicants is not guaranteed by empanelment.
Any kind of canvassing for engagement and selection is strictly prohibited.
Participating Guest Facilities must abide by all HSS and occasionally governmental rules, regulations, and recommendations.
In terms of attending classes and participating in extracurricular and co-curricular activities at school, engaged guest faculties must adhere to all directives from the department head or principal and take classes as scheduled by the HSS schedule.
Engaged Guest Faculty are not permitted to request long-term employment with the government or HSS.
Payment shall be made in accordance with government regulations and the availability of funds allocated by the government.
Retired government college and high school teachers would be given preference in accordance with Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha letter no. 6819 dated May 28, 2025.
The candidates are required to come down for interview with filled application form along with photo copies of all certificates.
