The applications will be opened on dt. 22.10.2025 at 11.30 AM. The applicants will have to attend the same. 2. Guidelines for Facilitator Recruitment
The guidelines were sent by the Director, IMAGE (Institute on Management of Agricultural Extension, Bhubaneswar) to the PD, ATMA (All) and Principal RITE (All) on 03/04/24. These guidelines were originally referenced from MANAGE, Hyderabad.
Criteria for Selection for Recruitment under IMAGE Bhubaneswar
The facilitator will be selected based on the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate/postgraduate in Agriculture/Horticulture with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in agriculture and allied sectors.
- Preference may be given to Agriculture graduates with an experience of around 20 years in the Department of Agriculture, SAUs, or KVKs with sufficient field experience.
- Employment Status: Regular government employees of the Department of Agriculture cannot be recruited as facilitators for the DAESI Programme.
- Knowledge & Skills:
- Should have adequate knowledge about agricultural activities in the districts and experience in organizing training programmes.
- Must have good communication skills and be capable of mobilizing input dealers for the DAESI Programme.
- Should be proficient in handling computers, smart phones, and independently managing the documentation and database management of the DAESI programme.
- Should be knowledgeable and able to handle classes in the absence of resource persons.
Facilitator Role and Appointment- Recruitment under IMAGE Bhubaneswar 2025
- Appointment: On a contract basis for one year only.
- Batch Organization: A single facilitator is allowed to organize two batches at a time in the financial year and is eligible for monthly remuneration for both batches, provided they are organized on two different days.
- Responsibilities:
- Responsible for completion of the programme on time.
- Responsible for preparation of annual session plan and coordinating with resource persons.
- Can mobilize 40 candidates in a district and conduct a DAESI Programme with the approval of SAMETI and MANAGE.
- Should be used only for DAESI Programme related works.
- After completion of a batch, the same facilitator can be appointed for other DAESI programmes.
- Remuneration/Honorarium:
- Allowed to take honorarium for a maximum of 4 sessions he/she handled.
- NTIs should consider weekly attendance for releasing monthly remuneration, as classes are conducted weekly once, and daily attendance is not required.
Criteria and Weightage for Selection for Recruitment under IMAGE Bhubaneswar
The selection will be based on the following weighted criteria, with a Total of 50 Marks:
