2. Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs)
- Subjects: Odia, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, and Social Science.
- Remuneration: 20,000/- per month.
- Age Limit: 18 to 65 years.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- PGTs: Master’s Degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) and a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.).
- TGTs: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts or Science in the concerned subjects with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/SEBC) and a B.Ed. degree.
- General Notes: Proficiency in teaching in both English and Odia medium is desirable. Candidates with Special B.Ed. or D.Ed. are not eligible.
Relaxation Provisions
In the absence of candidates with B.Ed. or CTET/OTET qualifications, the committee may consider:
- PGTs: Post Graduates with 60% marks in Science or 55% marks in Humanities.
- TGTs: B.Sc. with 60% marks or B.A. with 55% marks.
- Testing: Candidates without CTET/OTET may be considered if otherwise eligible.
