Educational Qualification
The candidate should have pursued Master Degree in the concerned subject from a recognized university with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade.

Remuneration

1. The remuneration paid to guest/visiting faculty members for degree classes in Govt. Degree/Autonomous and Model Degree colleges is Rs. 500/- per 45-minute class or lecture, with a maximum of Rs. 25,000/- per month averaged over nine months (limited to an average of 50 classes per month and to 450 classes during the year of engagement, wherever possible).
2. For +2 wing (Higher secondary) of composite Govt. Colleges, the honorarium rate for guest/visiting faculty members hired is Rs. 400/- per 45-minute class or lecture, with a monthly maximum of Rs. 16,000/- for 40 classes.

Procedure of selection of guest faculty for School

The viva-voce test and career marks will be used for selection. The following is the suggested weight allocation for the career assessment:
1. Career and Teaching experience= 60 Marks {Career marking(50 marks) + Teaching experience(10 marks)}
2. Viva-voice= 40 Marks {Teaching capability(20 marks)+Conceptual understanding in subject(15 marks)+Perspective in positivity and leadership(5 marks)}

Both theory and practical classes necessitate the participation of guest faculties.
If necessary, guest faculty members with three years of experience (a nine-month or longer engagement may be counted as one year) may participate in question-setting and evaluation on behalf of the relevant principal.
To implement the introduction of question bank compilation in each subject, question setting assignment would be necessary. After the answer paper’s coding is complete, the evaluation assignment must be put into practice.
Superarnuated faculty members will be given preference, and teachers with Ph.D.s or NETs and more than three years of experience in any State government college may be hired without having to go through the standard selection process of interviews. The department head must suggest superannuated faculty members who have taught at the undergraduate level or higher for at least ten years, and their resume must be provided.
