Eligibility Criteria for PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment
To be eligible for these positions, candidates must meet the following educational and age requirements:
1. Educational & Technical Qualification
- Diploma: Candidates must possess a three-year diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Punjabi Language: It is mandatory to have passed Matriculation with Punjabi as a compulsory or elective subject.
- Qualifying Test: Candidates must score at least 50% marks in a mandatory Punjabi language qualifying test (Matric standard) conducted during the recruitment process.

Selected candidates will be placed in the 7th Central Pay Commission scale:
- Pay Scale: ₹35,400/- (Level-6).

Selection Process for PSSSB Line Superintendent Recruitment
The selection will be based on an Objective Type Written Exam (MCQ).
- Part-A: Punjabi Language qualifying exam (minimum 50% required to pass).
- Part-B: Subject-related exam used for the final merit list.
- Negative Marking: Part-B includes negative marking, where 1/4th (0.25) marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
