Educational Qualifications
- For PGT (Commerce): Candidates must hold an Integrated Post Graduate Course from an NCTE-recognized institution in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including the B.Ed. component; OR a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject along with a B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks. Alternatively, a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. or 4-year integrated degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognized institution is accepted. Candidates should also have proficiency in teaching through English and Hindi mediums.
- For TGT (English): Candidates must possess a four-year integrated degree course from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects and in aggregate including the B.Ed. component; OR a Bachelor’s/Honors degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination and in aggregate, along with a B.Ed. degree (or 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. / 1-year B.Ed. Special Education). Additionally, candidates must have studied English as an elective/main subject in at least 3 years/6 semesters, must be qualified in CTET (Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India, and must have the competence to teach through English and Hindi mediums.
- For TGT (Computer Science): Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application (BCA) with at least 50% marks; OR Graduation in Computer Science/IT from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and aggregate (studied in all years as a main subject); OR a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science/Information Technology with at least 50% marks from a recognized institution.
