OUAT Berhampur Recruitment 2026: The College of Fisheries, under the Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT), Berhampur, has announced a walk-in-interview for the engagement of one Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position. This engagement is specifically for the project titled “Verification & Monitoring Consultant (V&MC) for Pradhan Mantri Matsya Kisan Samridhi Sah Yojana (PM-MKSSY)”.

- Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF).
- Number of Vacancies: 01 (One).
- Duration: 3 Years.
- Emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- per month (consolidated).

Eligibility Criteria for OUAT Berhampur Recruitment
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must hold an M.F.Sc. in Fisheries Science or an equivalent degree from a recognized university.
- Desirable Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in surveys, hatcheries, farms, and processing units, as well as those skilled in data compilation and report preparation. Additionally, candidates should have good communication skills and a willingness to undertake extensive field travel. Experience in value chains, business development, industry operations, and quality assurance is also considered beneficial.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 45 years of age as of the date of the interview. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and women candidates will be provided as per ICAR rules.

Important Instructions for Candidates

- Employment NOC: Candidates currently employed must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) in original from their present employer.
- Nature of Appointment: This is a purely temporary, project-based position. The engagement is co-terminus with the project and does not offer any claim for permanent absorption in the university.
- General Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview, and the decision of the selection committee will be final. Selected candidates will need to provide a medical fitness certificate and a character certificate from a Gazetted Officer upon joining.
