Qualification & Eligibility

The Qualification & Eligibility of Asst. Teacher (TGT) Science under OHPC recruitment are as follows:

1. The candidate must have passed the High School Certificate or an equivalent or any higher examination with Odia as a language subject.
OR
The Candidate must have Odia as a medium of examination in non-language subject at the High School certificate or equivalent examination, which he/ she has passed.
2. The candidate must have earned a Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university with at least 50% of the possible points, as well as a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. degree from any NCTE-accredited school.
OR a four-year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed. with at least 50% overall from any NCTE-approved university.
3. The Candidate must have qualified OTET-II & OSSTET.
4.Preference will be given to the candidates with Computer knowledge.

Age limit
Age limit of Asst. Teacher (TGT) Science under OHPC recruitment is as follows: 1.The candidate must have attained the age of 21 (Twenty-one) years and must not be above the age of 38 (Thirty-eight) years as on 01″ April 2025.
