Two separate advertisements have been issued for the position of Jogana Sahayak (Supply Assistant) in different Gram Panchayats (GP):

Note: The monthly honorarium shall not exceed 80% of the total PDS commission earned by the Gram Panchayat.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Age Qualification
- Barkote Block: Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age as of the last date of application.
- Khordha Block: Candidates must be between 21 and 35 years of age as of January 31, 2026.
2. Educational Qualification
- Barkote Block: The candidate must be at least a Graduate (+3).
- Khordha Block: The minimum educational qualification is Matriculation (10th Pass). However, marks from Matric, +2, and +3 will be considered during the final selection.
3. Residency
- Applicants must be permanent residents of the specific Gram Panchayat for which they are applying (Kaunshibahal GP for Barkote or Mallipur GP for Khordha).
Selection Process for Odisha Panchayat Samiti Recruitment
The selection is based on a career assessment merit list calculated from the marks obtained in academic examinations:
- Barkote Block: Weightage is given as 10% for Matriculation, 30% for +2 (Intermediate), and 40% for +3 (Graduation). The top candidate on the merit list will be appointed following approval from the Sub-Collector.
- Khordha Block: Selection will be based on the marks secured in Matric, +2, and +3 as per Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department guidelines.
