Eligibility & Qualifications
- Education: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology (BE/B.Tech), an MSc, an MCA, or a Master’s in Engineering/Technology (ME/M.Tech).
- Fields of Study: Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, and related disciplines.
- Experience:
- Scientist-C: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Scientist-D: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
- Note: Higher degrees like M.Tech or PhD may allow for a 2-year relaxation in experience requirements.
Age Limit (As of April 2026)
- Scientist-D: Up to 40 Years
- Scientist-C: Up to 35 Years
- Relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwBDs and Ex-Servicemen per government norms.
Selection Process for NIC Scientist Recruitment
