Nabarangpur Guest Teacher Recruitment 2026: ST & SC Dev., M&BCW Department, Govt. of Odisha invites applications in the prescribed format from retired teachers (not exceeding 65 years of age) and other eligible candidates (not exceeding 62 years of age) possessing the requisite educational qualifications for hiring as Guest Teachers in Higher Secondary Schools functioning under the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Nabarangpur District.

Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

Age Limit:

• Retired Teachers: Not exceeding 65 years of age.
• Other Eligible Candidates: Not exceeding 62 years of age.

Educational Qualification:

• PGT Physics: M.Sc in Physics with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.
• PGT Mathematics: M.Sc in Mathematics with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.
• PGT Odia: M.A in Odia with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.
• PGT English: M.A in English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.
• PGT Zoology: M.Sc in Zoology with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.
• PGT Botany: M.Sc in Botany with minimum 50% marks in aggregate with B.Ed. In case of non-availability of B.Ed candidates, non-B.Ed candidates will be considered.

Salary Details (ଦରମାବିବରଣୀ)

• Honorarium: A Guest Teacher will be paid Rs. 400/- per class/ period at Higher Secondary (XI & XII) level and not exceeding Rs. 16,000/- in a month.

Job Location (କାର୍ଯ୍ୟସ୍ଥାନ)

• Higher Secondary Schools functioning under the ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Nabarangpur District.

ଚୟନପ୍ରକ୍ରିୟା (Selection Process)

• Eligible candidates shall submit their applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications, training certificates, age proof and other supporting documents on or before 17.09.2026 (5.30 PM) through Registered Post/ Speed Post only.
• Candidates whose applications are received within the stipulated time shall appear for verification of original certificates on 19.09.2026 between 10.00 AM and 05.30 PM at District Welfare Office, Nabarangpur.
• Preparation of the merit list shall be based on as follows:
  • Academic Weightage: 70 Marks
  • Training Weightage: 30 Marks

ଆବେଦନକରିବାର ପ୍ରଣାଳୀ (How to Apply)

• The duly filled-in application along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and testimonials should reach to office of the District Welfare Officer, Nabarangpur either through Registered Post or Speed Post only on or before 5.30 PM of 17.09.2026.
• Applications received after the stipulated date and time shall not be entertained.
• Application form is to be filled by the candidate in his/her own handwriting.

ଗୁରୁତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ନିର୍ଦ୍ଦେଶାବଳୀ (Important Instructions)

• Duties and Responsibilities of Guest Teachers:
  • Teaching the students in classroom in the concerned subject as per syllabus.
  • Timely correction of assignments, Test papers, Projects, etc.
• Terms & Conditions:
  • Services of Guest Teachers will be hired only against a sanctioned vacant post till joining of regular teacher or for a particular academic year whichever is earlier.
  • Guest Teachers shall have no claim or right for appointment on a regular basis or contractual basis at any point of time nor will be a part of the cadre of teachers of SSD, M&BCW department.
  • Working hour and period duration shall be as per the school time table.
  • Services of a guest teacher shall automatically come to an end if he/she remains absent unauthorizedly continuously for a period of seven days.
