Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in the Poultry Science/Live Stock Production Management/Animal Nutrition/Animal Genetics & Breeding with at least 55% marks/equivalent OGPA (Ex. for Professor in Agronomy, a candidate must have M.Sc. (Ag.) degree in Agronomy). 3. Must have Ph.D. Degree in the concerned subject (Ex. for Professor in Agronomy, a candidate must have Ph.D. degree in Agronomy). 4. A minimum of 10 years of experience (excluding the period spent on Ph.D. study) in teaching/research/extension education not below the rank of Assistant Professor/Equivalent out of which 2 years must be in the cadre of Associate Professor/equivalent. Asst. Professor: 1. Minimum 2nd Class Bachelor’s Degree in the Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry with at least 55% marks/ equivalent OGPA. 2. Minimum 2nd Class Master’s Degree in Poultry Science/Live Stock Production Management/Animal Nutrition/Animal Genetics & Breedings with at least 55 % marks/ equivalent OGPA. 3. The candidate must have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) with one publication in NAAS (National Academy of Agricultural Sciences) rated journal. 4. The candidate having Ph.D. degree in concerned subject with course work as prescribed in the UGC Regulation, 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of National Eligibility Test (NET) and the candidate must have at least 02 (two) full length publication having “NAAS” rating not less than 4 on the last date of application.
