IndiGrid is inviting applications for two major business units: Transmission Line and Substation.
Important Note for Applicants: All candidates applying for the technical roles must have mandatory experience working on 220 kV and above voltage capacity.
1. Transmission Line Positions
For those specializing in power transmission networks, the following roles are open:
- Line Manager: If you hold a BE or B.Tech degree and have accumulated 5 to 8 years of experience, you can command a package up to 11 LPA.
- Line Engineer: Designed for BE/B.Tech graduates with 4 to 5 years of field experience, offering a salary up to 8 LPA.
- Lead Technician / Fitter: A fantastic opening for ITI holders with a strong track record of 7 to 10 years. The salary goes up to 5.5 LPA.
- Store Incharge: This position is open to any graduate with 5 to 12 years of experience. However, please note that having prior experience in Transmission Line & Substation (TL&SS) environments is completely mandatory. The package offered is up to 5 LPA.
2. Substation Positions

- Substation Incharge: The highest-paying role in this drive, offering up to 15 LPA. It requires a BE/B.Tech degree along with 8 to 12 years of solid experience.

- Shift Engineer: This role is specifically reserved for Diploma holders only who have 4 to 5 years of experience. The salary package goes up to 5 LPA.
