Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)

Post 1: Superintending Engineer – Civil/Electrical (Direct/Deputation)

• Essential Qualification & Experience (On Direct Recruitment):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 55% marks or minimum 5.5 CGPA on Ten-point scale and experience as under: (i) With a total of 15 years of experience in Civil/Electrical Work including Public Health OR (ii) Holding analogous post at the same level or working as an Executive Engineer in the Pay Level-11 or its equivalent for a period of 7 years under the Central/State Government including Govt. Autonomous Bodies/ Organizations/ Public Sector Organizations, with relevant experience in execution and construction of and Contract Management.
• Essential Qualification & Experience (On Deputation):
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/ Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/University with minimum 55% marks or minimum 5.5 CGPA on Ten-point scale and experience as under: (i) Holding analogous post at the same level or working as an Executive Engineer in the Pay Level-11 or its equivalent for a period of 7 years under the Central/State Government including Govt. Autonomous Bodies/Organizations/ Public Sector Organizations, with relevant experience.

Post 2: Senior Technical Officer (Computer Centre)

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • BE/B.Tech/M.Sc/MCA in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 10 years of relevant experience out of which 5 years should be in Pay Level-10 and above or overall 12 years of relevant industrial experience. OR
  • ME/M.Tech from a recognized University/Institute in Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 8 years of relevant experience out of which 5 years should be in Pay Level-10 and above or overall 10 years of relevant industrial experience. OR
  • Ph.D. from a recognized University/Institute in Computer Science & Engineering /Information Technology or equivalent with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on 10-point scale or equivalent in Master’s Degree, and with 5 years of relevant experience in Pay Level-10 and above or overall 7 years of relevant industrial experience (Relevant work experience will be counted cumulatively after the completion of the Master’s degree; however, the duration spent pursuing a Ph.D. will not be considered as part of the work experience).
• Relevant Experience:
  • Experience in the design, development, implementation, customization, integration, and maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and institutional information systems, including web portals and web-based applications, with sound knowledge of: i) Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) ii) Full Stack Application Development iii) Institutional workflows, business process analysis, and automation iv) Software/application architecture and enterprise system design v) Database management, APIs, and system integration vi) Software testing, deployment, maintenance, and version control vii) Secure software development and information security practices viii) Microservices

Post 3: Assistant Registrar

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • A Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, with experience as under: At least 8 years of relevant experience in handling Administrative/ Finance & Accounting/Academic/Legal/Audit/ Stores & Purchase / Establishment matters out of which at least 6 years in supervisory level (Pay Level 6 and above) or equivalent post in Government/Government Research Establishments/ Universities/Statutory Organizations/ Government Organizations/PSUs.

Post 4: Counsellor

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • Master’s Degree with minimum 55% marks or minimum 5.5 CGPA on Ten-point scale in the field of Psychology (Counselling / Clinical Psychology) with minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience in an educational Institution or in a mental health-care clinic of repute. AND A valid RCI registration as Clinical Psychologist.

Post 5: Security Officer

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • I. A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent.
  • II. A minimum of 10 years of security related supervisory/administrative experience out of which at least 5 years should be at Pay Level-7 and above or equivalent, in Central/State Police Service/ Para-Military Forces/ Defence/ Government Research Establishments/ Universities/ Statutory Organizations of high repute.
  • III. Holding a valid driving license to ride light motor vehicle and motorcycle.

Post 6: Hindi Translator

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% of marks or minimum 5.5 CGPA on Ten-point scale with Hindi and English as main subjects (which includes term compulsory and elective) and with two years’ experience in translation from English to Hindi and vise-versa in Central or State Government offices including Government organizations.

Post 7.1: Junior Technical Superintendent – CSE

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • BE/B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology/ Electronics or M.Sc in Computer Science /Information Technology/Electronics or MCA or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 2 years of relevant experience. OR
  • B.Sc in Computer Science /Information Technology/Electronics or equivalent (or) BCA from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 4 years of relevant experience. OR

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • BE/B.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology /Electronics and Communication Engineering/Software Sciences or MCA or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 2 years of relevant experience. OR
  • B.Sc in Computer Science /Information Technology/Electronics or equivalent (or) BCA from a recognized University/Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 4 years of relevant experience. OR

• Relevant Experience:
  • Experience in Cyber Security Network Administration that includes Configuration, monitoring, and administration of network security infrastructure, including firewalls, VPNs, access control, security operations monitoring, vulnerability and patch management, and handling of network security incidents. Experience on Linux platform and elementary shell scripting.

Post 8.1: Junior Technician – CH

• Essential Qualification & Experience:
  • BE/B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognized University with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent. OR
  • Diploma in Chemical Engineering from a recognized Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 3 years of relevant experience. OR
  • ITI in Chemical Engineering from a recognized Institute with a minimum of 55% marks or a minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10-point scale or equivalent, and with 5 years of relevant experience.

Post 8.2: Junior Technician – Systems

• Essential Qualification & Experience:

आवेदनकरने की प्रक्रिया (How to Apply)

1. Candidates are required to apply online only through https://www.iittp.ac.in/recruitment.
2. Separate application has to be submitted for each post.
3. Each eligible Candidate has to fill out only one application for one particular post. The same application shall be considered for both unreserved and reserved posts if the candidate from the reserved category is eligible for unreserved posts.
4. Candidates should follow the prescribed procedure for submission of online applications.
5. Application/Processing Fee and mode of payment: It is to be paid through the online portal.
   • Group A: Application Fee: Rs. 500/- | Processing Fee: Rs. 200/-
   • Group B: Application Fee: Rs. 300/- | Processing Fee: Rs. 200/-
   • Group C: Application Fee: Rs. 200/- | Processing Fee: Rs. 200/-
   • SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender and PwBD candidates are exempted from payment of the application fee provided documentary proof for the same is submitted at the time of applying online. However, all candidates, irrespective of category/gender, shall be required to pay the Processing Fee separately for each post applied for.
6. After successful online submission of the application, a printout of the application form must be obtained and submitted when called for a test/interview. It will be required at the time of document verification/test/interview. A hard copy of the application is NOT to be sent to the Institute.

One statutory document issued by an authority other than the employer to substantiate claimed work experience: EPF Statement or UAN Details / ESI Records / Form-16 / Income Tax Returns (ITR) / Bank Statement showing salary credits. g. Salary certificates towards experience indicating salary breakup (Pay, DA, HRA, etc.). h. Certificate of proficiency, wherever required, with respect to desirable qualifications.

1. The candidate must be a citizen of India.
2. Each post carries retirement or terminal benefits as per Government of India norms and as applicable/adopted by the Institute from time to time.
3. All educational qualifications must be from a recognized Board/University/Institute only.
4. Only relevant experience gained after obtaining the minimum qualifying educational qualification will be considered.
5. Applicants must ensure, before applying, that they possess the minimum essential qualifications and experience prescribed for the post. Eligibility with respect to age, qualification and experience shall be determined as on the last date of closing of online application.
