Educational Qualification
- Young Professional-II: Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E. in Soil & Water Conservation, Water Resource Management, or Irrigation & Drainage Engineering. Alternatively, an M.Sc. in Agriculture (Agronomy/Soil Science), Biotechnology, Geology, or Post Graduation in Ag. Engineering/Geoinformatics is accepted.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): M.Tech/M.E. or Postgraduate degree in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering, Remote Sensing/GIS, Computer Science, or Water Resources Engineering.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- Young Professional-II: Minimum 21 years and maximum 45 years.
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women.
- Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India rules.
Salary (Monthly Emoluments)
- Young Professional-II: Rs. 42,000/- (Consolidated).
- Senior Research Fellow (SRF): Rs. 37,000/- + HRA for the 1st and 2nd year; Rs. 42,000/- + HRA for the 3rd year.
