Notification for Engagement of Guest Faculty for the Session 2025-26
GOVT. HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL (HSS), LAPANGA RENGALI SAMBALPUR invites applications from eligible candidates for appointment as Guest Faculty in Higher Secondary Classes (Arts & Science streams) for the session 2025-26. The engagement will continue until the vacancies are filled or until the commencement of the next Summer Vacation, whichever is earlier.
Subjects available: Education, Hindi, Home Science, Geography, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology.

Eligibility:
- Retired Govt./Non-Govt. Aided lecturers below 65 years or fresh candidates with at least 50% marks in Master’s Degree in the relevant subject.
- Applicants must submit their bio-data along with self-attested copies of mark sheets (HSC to Master’s Degree), B.Ed., certificates, and two recent passport-size photos. Originals must be shown during document verification.
- Applications can be submitted online at lapangahighschool@gmail.com or in person at the school office from 01.09.2025 to 15.09.2025 (up to 5:00 PM).
- Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
Selection Preference: Candidates with teaching experience and PGDCA qualification will receive weightage as per guidelines.
Remuneration:
- ₹400 per class (45 minutes)
- Maximum 50 classes per month (₹20,000/month ceiling)

Additional Notes (for PGT in Information Technology):
- Acceptable qualifications include:
- B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) from a recognized university
- B.E./B.Tech (any stream) with PG Diploma in Computer Science from a recognized university
- M.Sc. (CS/IT)/MCA from a recognized university
- DOEACC/NIELIT “B” or “C” level with graduation in any discipline
(B.Ed. is not required for this post)
- Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
- Guest faculty may continue until the closure of schools for Summer Vacation 2025-26 or until a regular appointment is made.
