Govt General Hospital Ongole Recruitment 2026: The Health, Medical & Family Welfare Department of Andhra Pradesh has issued a notification for the recruitment of various personnel on a contract basis at the Drug De-Addiction Centre, Government General Hospital (GGH), Ongole. This recruitment is being conducted under the control of the Director of Medical Education (DME), AP.

There are a total of 06 vacancies available for the following positions:
- Project Co-ordinator cum Vocations Counselor: 01 Post (Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/-)
- Peer Educator: 01 Post (Remuneration: Rs. 10,000/-)
- Chowkidar: 02 Posts (Remuneration: Rs. 9,000/-)
- House Keeping Staff (Full time): 01 Post (Remuneration: Rs. 9,000/-)
- Yoga Therapist/ Dance/Music/Art Teacher (Part-time): 01 Post (Remuneration: Rs. 5,000/-)
Educational Qualifications & Eligibility
- Project Coordinator cum Vocational Counselor: Must have a Graduation degree from a recognized institute, at least 3 years of experience in managing similar centers, and working knowledge of computers.
- Peer Educator: Candidates must be literate and an ex-drug user with 1-2 years of sobriety. They must be willing to work with the drug-using population and possess good communication skills.
- Chowkidar: Must have passed SSC/10th class. Only male candidates are eligible for this post.
- House Keeping Staff: Must have passed SSC/10th class and have a minimum of one year of experience in housekeeping.
- Yoga/Dance/Music/Art Teacher: Must have at least three years of experience in the respective discipline.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 42 years old as of January 1, 2026. Relaxations apply for SC/ST/BC/EWS (5 years), Ex-servicemen (3 years), and Differently Abled persons (10 years).
