- Ex-Servicemen Status: Must be an ex-servicemen officer of the rank of Brigadier or equivalent ranks from the Indian Navy or Indian Air Force.
- Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 60 years of age.
- Service Record: Must have a clean record of previous service and possess good character.
- ESM Benefits: The candidate must not have previously availed of any other ESM (Ex-Servicemen) resettlement or employment benefits from DGR, ECHS, RSB/ZSB, or any other Government employment under the ESM quota. A formal undertaking to this effect is required.
Tenure of Appointment- Goa Sainik Welfare Director Recruitment
The appointment is for a period of five years or until the officer reaches 65 years of age, whichever is earlier. Continuation is subject to the satisfactory performance of the officer.
