Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment 2026: Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) has released a special drive recruitment notification for engineering graduates to join as Executive Trainees (ETs) in the disciplines of Information Technology, Mining, and Chemical Engineering. This recruitment is based on GATE 2025 scores.

DVC is inviting applications for a total of 16 positions across three engineering disciplines:

One vacancy in the IT discipline is reserved for PwBD candidates (Deaf and Hard of Hearing).
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements as of the closing date of the online application:
- Upper Age Limit: 29 years for Unreserved candidates. Age relaxation applies for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-SM as per Government of India guidelines. There is no upper age limit for DVC departmental candidates.
- Essential Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (B.E./B.Tech) from an AICTE/statutory approved institution with a minimum of 65% marks for General/OBC/EWS and 60% marks for SC/ST/PwBD.
- GATE 2025 Requirement: Candidates must have appeared and qualified in the corresponding GATE 2025 paper (CS for IT, MN for Mining, and CH for Chemical). GATE scores from 2024 or earlier are not valid.
Salary and Compensation
- Pay Scale: Selected candidates will be placed in the Pay Matrix Level-10 (7th CPC) with a salary range of Rs. 56,100 – 1,77,500/-.
- Probation: There is a one-year probation period, after which candidates will be absorbed as Assistant Managers.
- Benefits: The package includes Basic Pay, DA, Medical Reimbursement, HRA, NPS, and other allowances as per Corporation rules.
Selection Process for Damodar Valley Corporation Recruitment
The selection is based strictly on the marks obtained (out of 100) in the GATE 2025 exam. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification (DV) in a ratio of 1:5 based on merit.

- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-SM/Departmental Candidates: Exempted from paying the application fee.
