Selected candidates will receive an attractive daily honorarium in accordance with university guidelines:
- Daily Pay: Rs. 1,600 per day
- Maximum Monthly Limit: Up to Rs. 35,000 per month
Eligibility Criteria for College of Horticulture Chhindwara Recruitment
To be eligible for these teaching roles, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
- Basic Qualifications: Must possess valid Undergraduate and Postgraduate degrees from a recognized university.
- Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture with at least 6.5 OGPA/CGPA out of a 10-point scale, or a minimum of 55% marks under the traditional system.
- Master’s Degree: A Master’s degree in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject with a good academic record and at least 6.5 OGPA/CGPA out of a 10-point scale.
- National Tests: Candidates must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the ICAR, UGC, or CSIR, or similar accredited tests like SLET or SET.
- NET Exemption: Candidates who do not have NET/SLET/SET qualifications but hold a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations (2009 or 2016) are exempted from the test requirement.
- Age Limit for Retired Teachers: In case fresh candidates are unavailable, retired teachers up to 70 years of age can be considered. Candidates already on regular rolls of other government or private institutions will not be eligible.
