Eligibility Criteria (पात्रता मानदंड)
1. Post PGT
Educational Qualification:
(a) Integrated Post Graduate Course from NCTE recognised institutions, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component.
OR
Master Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the subject concerned.
AND
B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
OR
Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
OR
Four years integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized institution including B.Ed. component.

2. Post TGT
Educational Qualification:
(A) Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (s) as well as in the aggregate including B.Ed. component.
OR
Bachelors/Honors Degree from a recognized institution with at least 50% marks in concerned subject, combination of subjects as well as in the aggregate and B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks/three years integrated B.Ed.- M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks/01 years B.Ed. (Special Education) from RCI recognized Institution with at least 50% marks.
OR
Post Graduation in concerned subject / any specialization in concerned subject with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade provided that the candidate has studied the subject(s) mentioned in the note below at the graduation level and three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
(B) Qualified in the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test Conducted by Government fo Uttar Pradesh/Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) conducted by the Government of India
(C) Competence to teach through English & Hindi media.
Note: The concerned subject mentioned above means the post wise Main / Elective subject(s) and the combination of subject(s) if any are as under:
- (a) For TGT Hindi: Studied Hindi as an Elective/Main subject in atleast three years/06 Semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course.
- (b) For TGT (English): Studied English as an Elective/Main subject in at least three years/06 Semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course.
- (c) For TGT (Social Studies): Studied any two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics and Political Science at graduation level out of which one must be either History or Geography in at least three years/06 Semesters in graduation/four years integrated degree course, one subject as an Elective/Main Subject and the second subject for at least one year /any two semesters.The candidates who studied under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with the above subjects combination are also eligible to apply.
- (d) TGT (Sanskrit): Studied Sanskrit as an Elective/Main subject in atleast three years/06 Semesters in graduation/ four years integrated degree course.
Desirable Qualification:
- Experience of working in a residential school.
- Knowledge of Computer applications.
Age Limit
Upper Age Limit for all categories of teachers is 50 Years as on 1st July of the year of engagement.
Salary Details (वेतनविवरण)
- PGT Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 35,750 Per month for P.G.T
- TGT Remuneration: Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 34,125 Per month for T.G.T

- लिफाफे पर अंकन: आवेदन पत्र के लिफाफे के ऊपर मोटे अक्षरों में अटल आवासीय विद्यालय में आवेदित पद का नाम विषय के साथ (जिसके लिये आवेदन किया जा रहा है) स्पष्ट रूप से अंकित होना चाहिए।
- अस्वीकृति: अपूर्ण, अस्पष्ट, बिना संलग्नकों वाले, बिना हस्ताक्षर वाले, प्रारूप से भिन्न संलग्नकों वाले आवेदन पत्रों को निरस्त कर दिया जायेगा।
- साक्षात्कार व काउन्सिलिंग: काउन्सिलिंग एवं साक्षात्कार हेतु तिथि की सूचना आपको अलग से दी जायेगी, जिसके लिये कोई यात्रा भत्ता देय नहीं होगा।
