- Nature of Post: The posts are purely temporary on a contractual basis and can be terminated at any time.
- Emoluments: The scale of pay mentioned in the table is indicative only. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration as fixed by the Government in SS&EPD Department and cannot claim financial entitlements at par with Government employees.

2. Selection Procedure for Recruitment at Red Cross School Odisha 2025
- Draft Merit List Preparation: After the application submission deadline, the sealed application forms will be opened before the District Level Selection Committee to prepare the Draft Merit List based on the weightage of marks.
- Public Objection Period: The Draft Merit List will be hoisted on the District Website, and candidates may submit objections within 7 days.
- Final Merit List: Objections received will be placed before the Committee for rectification of any anomalies, and a final list will be prepared.
- Skill Test Invitation: Based on merit in academic and professional qualifications, eligible candidates in a ratio of 1:10 (one vacancy for every ten candidates) will be invited for the Skill Test/Interview/Presentation and original certificate verification.
- Final Selection: All candidates must appear for the Skill Test, which is a vital part of the recruitment. The Collector, Ganjam, will constitute separate Expert Committees to conduct the Skill Test. The final merit list will be made on the basis of academic/professional merit and the Skill Test performance. For Attendant and Sweeper-cum-Watchman, the performance in the Skill Test will be the deciding factor.
