1. Available Positions & Interview Dates for PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Balasore Recruitment
Usually, interviews will be held between Late Feb and Early Mar. Applicants will be able to register for Interviews from 08:00 AM on the day of the Interview until 09:30 AM.
- Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, English, Hindi, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Odia.
- Primary Teachers (PRT) & Balvatika Teachers.
- Miscellaneous (including): Computer Instructor, Sports Coach, Yoga Instructor, Dance/Music Coach, Doctor, Nurse, Educational Counselor, and Special Educator.
2. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements as per KVS norms:

| TGT | Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in the subject + B.Ed. + CTET Paper II pass. |
| PRT | 12th with 50% marks + JBT/D.El.Ed + CTET Paper I pass. |
| Computer Instructor | B.E/B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, M.Sc (CS/IT), or BCA. |
| Nurse | Diploma/Degree in Nursing. |
- Age Limit: 18 to 65 years.
- Proficiency: Ability to teach in both Hindi and English media is required.
3. Salary & Remuneration
Monthly pay is consolidated and follows the standard KVS pay scale for “Normal” stations:
- PGT: ₹27,500/- per month.
- TGT: ₹26,250/- per month.
- PRT: ₹21,250/- per month.
- Computer Instructor: ₹26,250/- (for classes VI onwards) or ₹21,250/- (for classes III to V).
- Doctor: ₹1,000/- per day (for 2 hours).
- Nurse: ₹750/- per day.
