On June 30, 2025, the office of the district judge in Jharsuguda, Odisha, issued the District Court Jharsuguda Recruitment notification for the position of Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist/Stenographer, group-c cadre. Along with regular D.A. and other benefits, Group-“C” cadre jobs will be filled on a regular basis in accordance with the pay scale or pay matrix level designated for each position.

Eligibilities for the Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist/Stenographer Position at the District Court of Jharsuguda Recruitment

To apply for the positions, individuals must fulfill the following eligibility requirements.

i. Candidates’ educational backgrounds for the Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist/Stenographer position for District Court of Jharsuguda Recruitment

a) A minimum of a +3 exam must have been passed by the applicant, or they must possess additional qualifications equivalent to a +3 exam from an approved university.
b) Have at least a computer applications diploma from an accredited school.

ii. The minimum age requirement to apply for the Junior Clerk-Cum-Copyist/Stenographer position at the District Court Jharsuguda

By the application deadline of July 24, 2025, the candidate must be older than 18 but younger than 32. iii. Be able to read, write, and speak Odia using the M.E. standard-level proficiency level.

iv. Candidates applying for Stenographer position should be able to type 40 English words per minute and 80 shorthand words per minute.

Every post category will have a written exam, followed by a practical computer science test and a voice-over test.

The application, the required documents, and self-attested copies of the candidates’ legally signed certificates must be delivered by postal mail in order to arrive at the District Judge’s office in Jharsuguda by 5:00 PM on July 29, 2025, at the latest. The “Application Drop Box,” located in the Office of Process Establishment Section, Civil Courts, Jharsuguda, is another location where candidates can drop off their application forms.

ii. Both the top of the application and the top of the envelope holding it must bear the name of the position for which the candidate is applying in capital letters.
