Remuneration	For attending every board and committee meeting of the company, the Independent Director would receive payment within the celling limit of Rs 10,000, as determined by the Principal Secretary of the Agriculture & Farmers Empowerment Department, Government of Odisha.

Technical Expertise	The individual has at least ten years of experience in the agricultural sector working for the Indian government, state governments, or international organizations at the administration, planning, policy, or execution level.
Financial Expertise	The individual should be qualified in one or more of the following areas: law, finance, management, marketing, sales, research, technical operation, corporate governance, or other business-related disciplines.

Duties & Responsibilities of Independent Director

In addition to the responsibilities granted to him or her by the Companies Act of 2013 or any other law, notice, regulation, circular, etc. currently in effect, the Independent Director would be in charge of the tasks and responsibilities listed in Schedule IV of the Companies Act of 2013.
