Paradip Port Trust Recruitment 2025: Paradip port authority has released notification on 30/05/2025 for the engagement of Trainee Pilot on contractual basis.

Paradip port authority is inviting applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Trainee Pilot on temporary basis. The interested candidates are required to go through the following vacancy details for applying the positions.

Remuneration
The Trainee Pilot will be paid a monthly consolidated amount of Rs.85,000/-.
Qualification & Experience
i) The candidate must possess a certificate of competency as a foreign-going ship’s master granted by the Indian government’s Ministry of Shipping, or a similar credential accepted by the same government agency.
ii) One year of experience as a master or chief officer of a foreign-going ship following qualification.
Tenure of Appointment
The initial term of the engagement will be three years, with the possibility of extension based on the performance of the chosen candidates and the needs of the Paradip Port Authority. There will be a one-day break following the successful completion of each year, and there will be a 5% annual increment.

Important instructions relating to Paradip Port Trust Recruitment for Trainee Pilot:

  1. No court of law should have found the candidate guilty.
  2. Two recent passport-sized photos with the applicant’s name on the back must be attached.
  3. Government employees, including port workers, must submit their applications via the appropriate route and provide a “No Objection Certificate” from their current job.
  4. Interviews will be the basis for selection. The eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification at a time and location to be announced later.
  5. Copies of self-attested documentation attesting to the individual’s age and birthdate, as well as their education and work history, must be included. Without copies of all supporting documentation that have been self-attested, the application will not be reviewed.
  6. Candidates will be held accountable for the accuracy of all information they provide, and if information or documents are later discovered to be inaccurate, they will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include termination from service without prior notice.
  7. Any kind of canvassing will result in disqualification.
  8. Candidates should be aware that PPA will never be held accountable for applications that are incomplete, not received, or received after the deadline for any reason.
  9. If necessary, PPA retains the right to change, edit, or remove the advertisement at any time for administrative reasons without providing prior warning or an explanation.
  10. There is no TA or DA allowed for attending the interview or having private conversations, etc.
  11. Applications that are incomplete, received after the deadline, etc., won’t be taken into consideration.
  12. The district of Jagatsinghpur would have jurisdiction over any dispute pertaining to this recruitment.
  13. The Appointing Authority’s decision would be final on all issues pertaining to the hiring process.

  1. The application form and self-attested certificates should be sent to The Secretary, Paradip Port Authority, Administrative Building, Paradip-754142, Jagatsinghpur, Odisha, by applicants who meet all eligibility requirements.
  2. The envelope containing the application should be clearly super-scribed in capital letters as :-“APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TRAINEE PILOT (ON CONTRACT)”.
