OAV Pakidi Hill Ganjam Recruitment 2026: OAV Pakidi Hill Ganjam invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts for engagement in different categories of post in other than KGBV Type IV Boys Hostel of the Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya, Pakidi Hill, Block-Sheragada, Ganjam to start functioning in the academic year 2026-27. Posts will be filled up by the eligible candidate through a selection process headed by the Collector-cum-Chairman, OAVs, Ganjam on merit basis /experience basis and interview as indicated against the posts.

Vacancy Details (ଶୂନ୍ୟପଦ ବିବରଣୀ)

• Warden: 1 post (Male)
• Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: 1 post (Male)
• Head Cook: 1 post (Male)
• Assistant Cook: 2 posts (Male)

• Type of engagement: Contractual
• Duration of the engagement: One year
• Extension: On expiry of one year period of contractual engagement the fresh contractual engagement shall be made with a gap of at least one working day based on the satisfactory performance of the employee.

Eligibility Criteria (ଯୋଗ୍ୟତା ମାପଦଣ୍ଡ)

• Warden:
  • Gender / Age (as on 18/09/26): Male / 30 to 60 years
  • Educational Qualification: BA/B.Sc
  • Experience: At least 02 years in hostel management.
  • Remarks:
    1. Preference shall be given to the local candidates preferably from the block area, where the Hostel of OAV is located. If not available then from the other block of this district will be considered.
    2. Retired male teacher, if willing & physically & mentally sound within the age limit of 62 years as on the date of the engagement may be engaged as warden.
• Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper:
  • Gender / Age (as on 18/09/26): Male / 21 to 32 years
  • Educational Qualification: HSC
  • Remarks: Preference shall be given to local candidates. If candidates are not available in that locality, then block will be taken as a unit. In case of non-availability of eligible Candidates, candidates from other blocks of this district will be considered.
• Head Cook:
  • Gender / Age (as on 18/09/26): Male / 30 to 40 years
  • Educational Qualification: Persons having cooking experience. Higher qualification is no bar.
  • Remarks: Well conversant to use of LPG. Preference shall be given to local candidates where Hostel is located. If candidates are not available in that locality, then blocks will be taken at a unit.
• Assistant Cook:
  • Gender / Age (as on 18/09/26): Male / 21 to 32 years
  • Educational Qualification: Persons having cooking experience. Higher qualification is no bar.
  • Remarks: Familiar with the use of LPG. Preference shall be given to local candidates, where Hostel is located. If candidates are not available in that locality, then blocks will be taken as a unit.

Salary Details (ଦରମା ବିବରଣୀ)

• Warden: ₹21,175/- (including EPF share of Employee & Employer)
• Chowkidar-cum-Sweeper: ₹7,500/- (including EPF share of Employee & Employer)
• Head Cook: ₹9,000/- (including EPF share of Employee & Employer)
• Assistant Cook: ₹6,750/- (including EPF share of Employee & Employer)
